"Patience my dear. Soon enough you can make your move." A man dressed in a black suit with a blood red tie rasped as he held a lit cigar between his teeth. The being that stood next to him, dressed in a torn bloody white dress shrieked and clawed at the window. The family visible through the window didn't take notice as the veil hadn't been lifted over the house yet. But soon it will be.

The well dressed man looked at the figure to his right and slapped her away from the window. She hissed at him, her thin red lips curled over her pointed white teeth in a look of disgust and anger. He took no notice to her outburst. Instead, he moved closer to the window. He held up his hand and held it to the window frame. With a jolt, pain laced through his fingers and palm with shocking speed causing him to backpeddle a half step. The veil was weaker. Had it been stronger, he wouldn't have survived that jolt without permanent damage to this body.

While this body was borrowed: a configuration for appeal, it still was useful, and any blemishes would be rather annoying. He glanced again at the window: the movie was starting. He knelt at the figure, still on the ground,  now mumbling incoherently to herself.  "It's almost time now."

She twisted her face into what could best be described as a smile. She shook her tangled black mane out of her eyes and looked up. The man shivered at the violent red eyes that stared into his nonexsistent soul. Despite the empty spot where his souo should have been, the man still felt as if the empty spot got... emptier? He shook his head at the stupid thought and helped her to her feet, taking great care in not looking at her eyes. She mumbled something again' and he rolled his eyes. And led her to the door.

They had spent the past twenty years working on this plan for revenge. Because as we all know revenge is a dish best served bloody.
