"Caleb is not perfect, at the end of the day, ah?" says my friend Cassie.

I don't answer her, but Myrah does:

"Maybe there are too many definitions for 'perfect', don't you think?"

I smile at her and so does Cassie.

"Girl, I gotta go", we hear a sound in the hall and then see a red head in the door. Scarlett enters into my room without knocking, but stops when she sees both my best friends on the floor and the papers on the floor.

"Mel, what happened?" she asks surprised and confused and I laugh. I really laugh.

"I'll tell you the whole story when you're back", I tell her still smiling and, when I see she isn't very convinced, I continue: "Deal?"

"Deal", she rolls her eyes, but waves back when I do.

"I told you it was completely crazy not to tell your big sister what you were doing!" Cassie scolds me friendly, but we all laugh.

"It was just once", I begin the excuse, and Myrah ends:

"And forever."

"So, what were you going to tell me?" asks Scarlett even before she enters the main hall. She takes of her shoes and goes in living room, waiting for me.

"Come upstairs, I made some Cappuccino, to help us in staying up late" I tell her, getting out of kitchen. We go upstairs and I feel my sister very nervous behind me. I have cleaned my room and now everything is at its usual place. Scarlett doesn't say a word and goes is the bed. I take of my T-shirt, under her very surprised sights.

"A TATTOO?!" she yells and I look at her in sign of sorry.

"Yes, it is a tattoo" I tell her, but not whispering.

"Permanent? Like forever?" her face turns yellow, then white.

"Yes. until the end and even after. Forever."

"You are crazy! This is insane!" her face is pink. "Who did this to you?"

I put on my pijama T-shirt and breathe.

"I did it, perfectly knowing what I was doing."

"Of course you were", she whispers, taking her heads into her hands.

"Let me tell you how it happened."

She laughs nervously.

"I'm so excited and so curious to hear this!" my sister says and the teenage version of her is showed now. The sparkle in her eye shows me she really wants to hear the story.

"Some teenage drama, I guess? I kind of missed it, I think, she smiles. Come on, begin it."

I take deep breath and do exactly what she says.

I begin it.
