The Adventures of the Walker Twins

Prologue:

           Katherine and her twin sister Kit had been told by their parents that they couldn't attend their twin daughters' graduation from college because they didn't want the Alphas that wanted then as mates to follow and find them. The Alpha from the Dark Pines Pack wanted Kat as a mate because his true mate had only given him a daughter and due to complications she couldn't have anymore. He had rejected her and she soon took her own life. He wanted Kat to breed him strong son's. The leader of a pack of rogues wanted Kit for revenge. He was a Beta's son and was known for his brutality towards she wolves and this was one of the reasons that Kit had rejected his advances in high school. When the two Alphas had  requested a meeting with their father to talk about having the girls as mates, their father had the girls brought into his office. The girls took one look at the two males and visibly cringed away from them. "Since my daughters have no feelings towards either one of you, I am denying you claims on my daughters as your mates. Please leave my territory at once" Robert Walker said in dismissal after he had sent his daughters out of the office. They had been packed and ready as soon as they had left his office and we're now in a private helicopter on their way to college and a new life, hopefully they will find their mates along the way. They boarded a charter plane at the airport under assumed names to Minnesota where they had pre-enrolled to the University there.

Chapter One: New Friends

          While there they had befriended another shifter by the name of Tara Valfedis. The twins had become her best friends and bodyguards when a party they had all been attending had gone terribly wrong. Some other shifters were there as well. One obnoxious male shifter had taken a keen interest in one of their classmates, shy Tara Valfedis. He had her by the wrist and was dragging her off to one of the upstairs bedrooms. Kat was walking upstairs behind them, looking for Kit. Kit had just stepped out from the bathroom in front of them when she heard the girl screaming, "Let me go!" She was struggling to get away from the big brute and he wasn't listening. "Hey sis, some pervert has his hand on a sister and she looks scared. Shall we?" Kit asked Kat over his shoulder. Kat looked back at her sister and grinned evilly. "Oh hell yeah! This guy just got his sorry ass caught between the bitches from hell!" she replied to her sister as she got into position. Kit stepped in front of him and blocked his way. She crossed her arms over her chest and glared at him. "Move it bitch, I'll take care of you when I'm done with this little piece here" he growled at Kit. Kit punched him in the nose hard enough to spray blood across the walls. She smile at the crunching sound of his nose breaking. "Oh fuck, you're dead bitch!" he shouted. He had let go of the girl he was holding and Kat pushed her behind her. Kat then wrapped her arms around his ribcage from behind and squeezed until she felt several ribs crack. She let him go and he fell to the floor gasping. While he was on the floor in agony, Tara stepped forward and soccer kicked him in the nuts for added measure. "When a girl says no it means no!" she yelled down at him. The three girls high-fived each other and hugged. "Let's get out of this cesspool and go back to the dorms. I'm Kat Walker and this is my twin sister Kit" Kat introduced as they went downstairs and retrieved their jackets. "I'm Tara Valfedis. I didn't know that there were anymore of 'Us' attending school here" she said and smiled. They walked out of the frat house and we're walking down the sidewalk back to the freshman dorms. They agreed that if this was what sorority and frats were like, they decided they didn't need any of it. "Hey girls, where do you think you're going? We have unfinished business with you three" someone called out behind them. The three women turned to see five guys behind them, one of them was being supported by another. Kit and Kat smirked at him. "Oh look, it's the perv and he has friends" Kat joked and glared at them. Kit and Kat felt Tara shaking between them. "You girls are going to pay for what you have done. You two bitches interfered with our buddy's fun and caused him pain and embarrassment. I don't know how you did it but you're all going to pay for this the hard way" one big guy with messy brown hair said, grinning evilly. Kit and Kat pushed Tara behind them. "Hey buttlickers, my sister can take you all down by herself. Didn't your Mommas teach you to respect those above you?" Kat said sneering at them. "Hey sis, do you smell that, omegas?" Kit said, smirking. Her normally turquoise eyes turning quick silver. Kat nodded as her eyes changed to quicksilver as well. Growls rumbled from the throats of the males. Eyes darkened, teeth and claws elongated as the males prepared to take on the two women. "Oh, please, as if you lowlifes could take on two very powerful Alpha females" Kit growled back at them. "And no one messes with our pack, so beat it!" Kat snapped. The twins let their Alpha power radiate off of them. Tara stared at them in shocked wonder. "S... So... Sorry. We d... didn't know" the messy haired guy said dropping his gaze to the ground in submission as did the others. He turned his gaze on his wide-eyed friend. "You're an asswipe, Jerome. Next time check out the sitch before you act so stupidly. And again, we are truly sorry for tonight's trouble. I'll keep my buddy on a short leash from now on" he said as his buddies turned away. He kicked the big perv in the ass. "You're lucky to be alive, you dumbass. Those two are seriously powerful and could have killed us easily; and imagine what our Alpha would do to us for even thinking of touching Alpha bloodline females. Remember what happened to my brother when he slept with that Alpha's daughter from that other pack?" messy brown haired guy said. The three women had not been bothered since then. They had become fast friends with Tara and we're there for her through her first shift, trained with her, studied together and just hung out at their apartment that Tara had found and rented off campus.
