I ran on the endless road, huffing, and puffing. Beads of sweat ran down my head, not a person in sight. Fog filled my vision, I squinted trying to see where I was going. I ran faster and faster on my bare feet, my heart raced with every step. Rocks and twigs tore into the soles of my feet. All I have to do is find help. Come on Agatha, keep running before it gets you, I to myself. Every inch of my screamed in pain, but I have to keep or going or else I will be caught. I can't end up like Mom...
The image of her dislocated body filled my head. I still remember everything as bright as the moonlight. Blood was smeared all over the floor, not an inch left of it on the floor. My mom's head some feet away from the rest of herself, I quickly looked away from the surprised look on her face. My stomach churned s I suddenly felt sick. Her ribs stuck out from her flesh in every which way, slimy looking organs of pink and red were splattered all around her. I couldn't do anything but watch, no tears ran down my face, not even a scream came out of me. I just watched in horror, at this gorry scene that laid in front of me.
I felt something trickled down my face, I went to wipe it thinking that it was my tears. Only to find red covering my hand. My mouth went dry as I slowly picked my head up, only to come face to face with a girl but upside down. Her feet touched the ceiling above and her black hair in my face. I opened my mouth and closed it as if I were a goldfish. She wore a white dress, with teddy bear soaked in blood within her arms. She laughed with glee making me wince. Her pale face glowed in the dark, as she had a sinister smile on her face.
"Hey there!! Would you like to be my friend?" She asked reaching her arm out towards me, I freeze. I wanted to move, but fear had overtaken me. It was etched in my eyes I could tell, for she smiled even more, "Well then let's play a game of tag, once I catch you you're next!" She laughs even louder, her voice filling my head. I scrambled back hitting the wall. The thing dropped something in my hand smiling even more, "Good luck, you will need it!!" I stared face to face with my mom's head, her eyes were bulged out and bloodshot, her hair a mess, blood oozed from it and onto me. I screamed and tossed my mom's head. Her eyes were large and black, which seemed to twinkle in the moonlight. I step back and run out into the woods. Not looking back.
I trip once I come back to reality, I hiss in pain and get back up. Limping ever so slightly I continued running. A howl hooted in the distance causing me to run faster. Every noise I heard sent shivers down my spine. Tears now brimmed my eyes, I want my mom. I start to sob, whaling as I ran. I had to clasp my mouth from letting it all out. Time seemed to pass by very slowly as my energy was being sucked out slowly. The moon was still up high, nothing seemed to change as I ran endlessly. What if I lost her, a sudden thought occurred to me. Well, I haven't seen her since the... My eyes grew hot, I shook my head shaking the thought out of my head.
I catch a glimpse behind me, there was no one in sight. Relief filled my aching muscles as I ran slower. Now realizing the amount of pain in my feet. I come to halt in front of a street lamp in the middle of the area. I huff and puff, crouching over to catch my breath. I looked to the left and right, finding no one I slowly made my way down to the ground. The light above me flickered, I didn't look up. For there was red footstep that made its way to me. No one was in sight, I froze as the blood coated teddy bear that the thing had was on the ground in front of me. I felt something snake it's a way onto my neck and all over me. I could hear the pulse in my head, realizing that the thing around me was hair. I looked up, meeting the thing's pure black eyes that reflected my terrified, vulnerable self. She giggled suddenly making me jump. Licking her lips she whispered, "I found you."
