Walking up to a hillside, a young girl sat on top of the big hill filled with dandelions puffs. Her big round eyes looked upon the city below her, the wind gently blew her ruffled hair off her shoulders. She gently took a dandy Lion in her hand, looking at the white puffball, she felt liquid run down her cheeks, and her bottom lip tremble. Trying to take deep breaths, her emotions took control, all of the insecurities and less self esteem had finally took over ,all of her bottled up emotions that was overflowing had finally popped and made her shoulders shake violently. Sobbing quietly while clutching the dandy Lion in her hand, she wished that she can be a different person then who she already is, someone who is confident in herself. How she can make friends easily, can do what she wish she could have done, but her other half was getting in the way of everything, holding her back with chains that she couldn't break, she had family members and friends that told her she can be the one to push herself away and do the things she wanted to do. But their opinions couldn't help her. She had to do this herself, she had heard what they said. It meant nothing, it didn't help one bit, she really couldn't push herself away, even with the help that she got from everybody. She signed quietly glancing back up at the city as a beautiful orange and yellow sun set showed in the sky. She glanced down at the dandy Lion, still clutched in her right hand, slightly bent from clutching it so hard, wiping her tears away, she took shaky deep breaths in and out. “I could do this”, she thought “I can be the one to push my other half away and break the chains that was holding me back from becoming something I've always wanted to be”. Looking long and hard at the dandy lion in her hand, she finally got strength and stood up looking over at the city as another wind blew, making her hair flow with it, narrowing her eyes, she nodded firmly, she wasn't gonna let her other half tug her a long, making her never be confident ever again. “I'm gonna become strong, I will be confident and I will break the chains that are holding me back", she thought as she gently held the dandy lion up to her face, closing her eyes, she silently made a wish and a promise, “I wish that my future will be brighter than it already is, and I promise that I will always be confident in myself”. And she gently blew on the dandy lion, making the white puffs flow through the wind and towards the sky. Smiling, she finally felt her chains breakaway. I am gonna make myself confident and become stronger for me and for everybody, and with that she turned around and walked down the hill leaving the past behind her and walking toward the future that awaited her.
