Life is a blank canvas. It's empty. It's just me. There were no colors, no smudges, no traces... nothing, just me in black and white.
Everyone’s a critic. Sydney Stubbs is a very good example. She singlehandedly overthrew my reputation as a hero. Well, I never really had any reputation of being one, but I felt like I lost my ego. Anyway, I decided to do something about her troubles not to help but to slap it on her face. It seemed like I found a new thing to spend my time other than studying. So, it was a long way, but life’s always a bitch.
~~~Lost Footprints~~~
Right after our weird ballroom PE class, I went right off to my next class which was our Physics class. I had already changed my clothes and got ready for my next class. My Physics class was in Andrew building which was just in front of our PE building, so it was easy. I got to class just in time. Before I got to our room, I encountered Emman on the way. He was my classmate in Physics, so I walked with him.
“Emman.” I walked right next to him. I see that his bruises still haven’t completely healed.
“Hey, man. You plan on going to class on time this time?”
“Yeah.” I chuckled. “Our prof’s a scary one.”
“Not really.” He said. “Just follow his rules. He’s cool.”
“Well, everyone says he’s a terror prof. You’re about the only one I’ve heard that said something good about him.”
“Yeah.” We got in our classroom, and Emman and I sat on the nearest seat we found. There were a lot of students in the room already, but class hadn’t started so…
It was then when I noticed that the bitch, Mandy, was sitting on the seat in front of me. It was probably to intimidate me again. She turned around to us and grinned at me again.
“Wow.” She laughed. “Someone’s early. Feeling threatened of our professor? He’s not the type to let your absences slide, you know.”
“I know.” I glared. “And what do you care?”
“I don’t.” she smiled. “I would just like it if you fail.”
“I’d like to slap it on your face when I don’t.”
“I guess I’ll see you try.” She teased.
“You two would make a cute couple actually.” Emman smiled at both of us, and we just turned at Emman and glared.
“Yuck.” She said. “I’d rather go out with Jadish.”
“Me too.”
“Oh, don’t worry, man.” He chuckled. “Your special lady friend, Franchesca, is here.”
“Not so loud. And hey, I just said she was cute. I didn’t say I’d hit on her.” That reminded me that Franchesca was our classmate. I turned to see her, and she was sitting on the other row. She always looked cute. She had a hot body, but that wasn’t really the thing that got me to like her. Anyway, I just liked her. I didn’t say I’d trade Jessica over her though I don’t really have Jessica. Come on, everybody’s got their side crushes.
