i look amoungst her valleys
i see storms brewing
but once they come
they will be light storms
and you will be so dissapointedso i look to my valleys
even if it rains, the worms come out and play in my puddles
but when the sun sets
the clouds clear and the stars come out
i see teenagers running in the dark with people they think will last foreverthen i look in the windows of houses that belong
to the people who are lucky to live in my valleys
i look over to the buses that carry people home
and their shoes get wet
they curse at the sky and i smile at them back
for it's not my fault
that i have to water seeds before they grow into
roses–my thorns will hurt you so fucking bad
