A New Story

Hey Guys! This isn't a short story, it's an announcement. I have a new book! It is a Wizarding World Fan-Fiction but it has completely original characters and plot lines. It is in a semi-script format because I imagine it as a TV show. It has always been my dream to write something like this.

Summary:

Annalise York was a normal girl living her normal life with her normal friends at her normal school and her normal family. But all of that changed when a very strange visitor from The Ministry of Magic came knocking on her door. Watch as Annalise's world turns upside down as she enters puberty and a whole new world.

Aaron Bashwil has lived the life of a muggle for as long as he can remember. But, when a letter arrives in his hands he learns that his hard working, single mother, Emily, has been lying to him his entire life. Now he must learn to fit into the wizarding world, thank god he and his best friend, Annalise, can do it together.

With Heather Chancler's two bestest (and not lame) friends gone she has to learn to keep her ego in check. Will Heather be able to gain the popularity she has always wanted?

With Heather refusing to acknowledge him, Adam Forks must fend for himself in the horrifying world of Middle School. He has to learn how to make new friends and be confident.

Rodrigo Hemerez hasn't spoken to his brother for three years. He must do everything he can, including disobeying his parents, to get him contact with his wizard brother again.

Follow these five students, and many more like that them as they learn about the tragedies of the real world.

Concept:

So, I love Degrassi. As a writer, I admire how to show tackles taboo and difficult, but real topics. I want to attempt to do this with this "show" dealing with issues such as anxiety, homosexuality, gender-identity, learning disabilities and more. I want to learn about these topics because they are so important. But, I also wanted to include something magical, therefore Hogwarts was obviously the right answer. It might be a school full of wizards but it is still a school full of pubescent teenagers after-all. If you have any idea for what I could include in the show don't hesitate to comment down below.

I have fallen in love with all of these characters and have planned out their entire lives through marriage and children. But, I need to get through their first year first I guess. Haha!

Other Notes:

I get it if you don't want to read the story, but I need your help. You see the characters are 11 right now, I don't remember a lot about being 11. I remember that I was in fifth grade (my parents put me in late), and all the boys were having drama so they would always come into class crying and we would all go to comfort them. I also remember we were doing Revolutionary War Song Parody's (our song was "Rude") and there was this one scene were king George runs away and his cape flys behind him and he looks like Batman. Also, WE COME FROM THE TURTLES. Your Welcome. So, if any of you have any memory's of being 11, anything I could use to create an interesting episode in the story please comment it down below. Even better, if you are 11 comment what your life is like, not anything personal or something but just like a generalization. I know some of these hard hitting topics I could do already but I'm waiting for the right time. Thank you.
