That morning, Yoongi woke up, his head throbbing in pain. He patted the spot in the bed next to him just to let a sight pas his lips when he figured he was alone. Was it a sight of relief? of disappointment? he didn't even know.
That's when something hit his nose : a smell, a good smell? definitely not. He jolted out of bed and ran through his apartment to arrive in the living room. It smelled like something was burning so he went directly to the counter of the kitchen just to bang his little toe against it. He let out a deep groan and heard what seemed like a surprised squeal :
- Oh Yoongi! You okay? I tried to make breakfast but as you can smell, I did not succeed. I stopped before burning the house down. I'm gonna head out and buy something to eat.
It was Jimin, he was still here, why though? Yoongi thought :
- Hey Jimin, I'm okay. You don't have to stay if you don't want to you know?
- Uh... Maybe I'm bothering you? Sorry for that I'll g-
- No! No no. I mean it's just that I'm not used to have someone staying after... You know...
- Oh yeah, me neither but I dunno, something in my head just told me to stay and get to know you more so can I?
- It'll be my pleasure, you also seem super cool, if you're not busy you can spend the day see just chillin ya know.
Jimin ran to Yoongi, took his hand and shook it excitedly. Yoongi could feel the happiness and good vibes radiating from him.
Everything was different from the night before, there was no lust, no fears, it didn't even cross Yoongi's mind that the other could do everything out of pity. He felt for once confortable and heat built up in his chest as he heard the guy with sweet scent telling him he'll be back in a minute and closing the door behind him.
But still, as the other crossed the door many thoughts came across Yoongi's mind : maybe it was just a trap and Jimin was never coming back, maybe he didn't wanna bother anymore, maybe he was lonely again.
Well, he did have his friends Namjoon and Jin but this time it felt different, like someone was right beside him.
