WOLF ALICE - SADBOY

"WHO HURT YOU SADBOY?                                                                                                                                                         YOU ACT LIKE YOU'RE ALREADY DEAD."

She was slightly confused as to why he had shown up, but her smile instantly dropped when she notices the tears that trickled down his cheeks, the way he looked so sad and broken, walking into the house with a slumped posture, dragging his feet on the ground, she wanted to wrap her hands around him and give him a hug, but maybe it was too soon for that.

She closed the door behind him, as he invites himself further into Hannah's house, falling onto the couch in defeat, he glances around, a few more boxes had been unpacked, but the house was still mainly empty, he didn't care, he just sat there, in the silence as she walks towards him, sitting next to him, but leaving him space, his face in his hands, she hears muffled cries, what does she do? She doesn't want to make him angry, but she cannot just leave a crying boy in her house.

"Finn," she whispers softly, bringing her hands up and grabbing his palms, removing his hands for him, he closes them tightly shut, lowering his hands to his lap, she edges closer, wanting him to open his eyes, her soft fingers trail his cheek, cradling his face, he looks up, to meet with her blue eyes, a soft sympathetic smile on her face, but sadness is wiped on her face, she feels whatever Finn feels, not wanting him to be in such a state alone.

"Tell me what's wrong." her voice is soft, calming, she still caresses his face, as he looks away sadly because he doesn't know what to say, he doesn't know how to word it and make it all seem okay, because it's not. Anyone else would want Finn to escape, but she's his, she's been his for three years, the mental and physical abuse was trained into his mind, and he was obsessed with her, it's unhealthy, to love someone so dearly that you'll let them destroy you from the inside out, let them set fire to your chest and walk away as you burn, but he voluntarily gave her the match, it's his fault that she walks all over him, it's all him.

"Who hurt you?" she asks, but he still doesn't want to look at her, afraid of opening up and letting it out, he just shuts his eyes, looking at the blackness, the darkest it ever gets, an endless void of loneliness, maybe he better belonged there? His girlfriend was ashamed of him when he's the one she should love the most, it paints him as a fool, and he believes it. Finn Wolfhard considers himself a fool, a waste of space, a disappointment. He had been one since he came out crying in the hospital, he had been once since the first slap to his skin as a young child, he had been one since he was dropped off at the orphanage, when his brother had left him, when Wyatt had left him, when Freya and him had started dating. He felt hopeless.

Hannah doesn't want to push the boy over the edge, his face is frozen as he doesn't want to open up his eyes, his lips are pressed together, so afraid of speaking, his body is tense, his shoulders up in defense and his hands still on his lap.

"Finn, please talk to me," her voice is strained, almost as if she's holding back her own tears, but Hannah is a nice person, and even if they had just met a day ago, she knows she likes him, because how couldn't you? In her eyes, she sees all the things he likes to bully himself about as positives, he doesn't think he's good looking, but she does, the way freckles dot around his face like miniature constellations, the way his locks curl and fall onto his forehead, pale white skin with plump pinky lips, enchanting dark brown eyes, she wants to bathe in his beauty, wants her heart to beat with his. Tell him that in no way should he be feeling like this, because nobody deserves to be so broken.

"You shouldn't feel this way, you don't deserve it," she states, but he just shakes his head in disagreement to her supportive words. "You hardly know me," he finally speaks, she's surprised and disappointed at the same time, how he could be so depressed and hurt that he doesn't believe he deserves fair treatment. "I want to know you, I want to know everything about you. I may not know everything just yet, but I'm certain you don't deserve this treatment."
