Bitty! Cross X Reader *Request*

Reader's pov
I was walking in Lin's Bitty store looking for a pet. I didn't want a parrot, too much sqwauking. No dog, too much barking. I get headaches really easy and I needed something that wouldn't make much noise.
Suddenly, I came to the Bitty Isle. In a glass casing there were little bit ties napping, running around, doing their own things.
"Interested in a Bitty?" Lin asked as she came up to me. I looked at one that was rather glitchy with 'error' signs around him.
"Is there one here that doesn't make much noise? I get headaches easily." I asked. She tapped her chin in thought. A little bitty tapped the glass and had a blue bandana on. He waved to me and went back to running toward a edgy looking bitty.
"I know! This Bitty is the one for you!" Lin said as she reaching in. She lifted up a igloo looking house to reveal a bitty dressed in black and white. A red mark under his right eye.
Lin lifted him up and he woke up from his little nap.
"This is Cross! He's very quite and doesn't make much noise! Cross can almost take care of himself too!" She explained. Cross was really cute. Even if he was looking at me with sleepy, irritated eyes.
"I'll take him! He's really cute!" I said egarly.
Cross blushed a purple hue and hid his face in his scarf. I giggled and gently took Cross from her to hold him a minute. He fit perfectly in my hands. Lin took him back and lead me to the counter. She took him to the back to clean him up while I filled out some adoption papers.

Cross's pov
I was sat on the metal table as miss. Lin started to gather my things. Why did she want me? I wasn't like Blue, who was hyper and fun. But then I wasn't like Red either, who was fiesty and rude.
I was just quite.
'You heard her! She wanted one that was quite! Or are you deaf?!' Chara shouted at me as he attempted to hit my head. Of course, his hands just went through me. I rolled my eyes and gasped as I was picked up and sat in the cardboard box.
"Have fun with her, okay?" Miss. Lin said as she closed the lid to the box. I hope this owner is kind.

Reader's pov
I finished the papers and she brought Cross back in his box. I hope we get along!
"Have fun! Cross will be quite for a while to get use to things." Lin noted to me as I gently picked up the box. I nodded in understanding before I walked out.

Getting home, I opened the box to see Cross sleeping against some clothes. Cupcake came running down the stairs as I petted Cross's head gently. I put a finger to my lips and Cupcake sat down.
"We have a new member of the family, Cupcake! Meet Cross!" I whispered as I picked up Cross and held him gently.
He sniffed Cross and booped his head with his nose. Cross shifted and hugged my index finger. His cute little hands caressed my finger gently as if he was trying to knead it like a kitten.
"Let's get him upstairs and put him to bed." I said and Cupcake picked up his box. As I carried him upstairs, Cross woke up and stared at me curiously.
"Hi Cross! I'm y/n! Hope we can get along..." I introduced as he snuggled into his scarf. He nodded and looked nervous about something.
"Is something wrong?"
"You're not gonna take me back... Are you?" Cross asked hesitantly. I was shocked.
"No! I won't take you back! I could never do something so cruel!" I said as I hugged him to my chest. Not realizing that I pressed him between my breast. He flushed a deep purple and was stiff. Pulling him back, I kissed his head and got into my room.
Cupcake jumped up onto the bed to be eye level with Cross.
"Ahh!" He shouted as he tried to scoot back in my hands.
"It's okay! Cupcake won't hurt you! He just wants to be friends." I said as I made gestures for Cupcake to sit. He sat and folded his ears back, sad that he scared Cross. It took Cross a minute before he reached forward and petted Cupcakes nose. This brightened his mood and his tail started to wag.
We were going to be a good family. ❤
