Aurora POV:

I didn't feel like going into work today so I just played hooky not even bothering to call in to say that I wasn't coming in.

My weekend went as abler, I cried most of the time feeling stupid and depressed.

I was lucky that my parents offered to take Daylan with them to the Auto Car Show that was a couple of hours away from here.
That meant they would have to stay at a hotel for the weekend.

I really do have the best parents in the world, I really don't know where I would be right now without them.

Getting myself ready I decided to go and see Mark at the coffee shop maybe he could get me in a cheery mood

Getting myself ready I decided to go and see Mark at the coffee shop maybe he could get me in a cheery mood.

I started to remember a really corny joke that he had told me the other day.

What did the red light say to the green light?
Don't look I'm changing.

I had to laugh because he was laughing hysterically about his own joke, he knew how to put a smile on my face and to brighten up my day. I'm hoping that he could do the same for me today.

Walking out of my house towards my car I took out my car keys pressing the unlock button to my car door.

Once I arrived at the coffee shop I parked behind the building beside marks car.
I didn't want anyone from work to see that I was there.

Opening the back door of the building going through the hall and opening up another door that would lead me right into the coffee shop from the back entrance.

What I really loved about this place was that other than Shelly, We were the only ones from the office that actually came here.

I think if it was more updated and not manly looking, Mark would have a whole lot more customers, but he said to me his father and mother used to run this place and once they had passed they wanted him to take over. He just didn't have the heart to change things yet.
