Is a bird scared to fly?
I am.
I’m not scared for the same reasons though.
I am scared not to fall, but to have my wings ripped clean off.
As I try to fly my wings rip more each time.
Do birds feel happiness when they fly?
A thrill?
Where birds find joy I find fear.
I fear not being able to enjoy flying,
But most of all I fear never flying again.
There is much to fear on Earth,
But when a bird takes flight he has not a care in the world
