The rest of the day, (Y/N) kept thinking about those incidents. She also kept thinking about the first time she ever explained the phenomenon to her class. When walking through the halls, she saw Ochaco running towards her.

"(Y/N) what did you do?! Principal Nezu is looking for you!!!"

"Wha-? I didn't do anything?!"

Ochaco raised an eyebrow like she was utterly confused why she'd deny it. So she grabbed her arm, and basically dragged her to his office.

Upon arrival, Ochaco knocked on the door and entered when she heard a faint, "come in!"

"I found her Principal. She was just getting ready to leave to head home."

"Thank you Uraraka. If you want, you can stay, but by no means are you required to."

Ochaco nodded her head and decided to sit down just outside the door. She didn't want to hear the conversation directly, but a little eavesdropping wouldn't hurt.

"You wanted to see me Nezu?"

"Yes. Apparently you were caught stealing some food during lunch."

"No?! I never stole anything! In fact, I actually didn't go to lunch today..."

As soon as she responded, her stomach gurgled, as if to prove to him she did, in fact, skip lunch. Principal Nezu was still skeptical, so he pulled up the video footage and pressed play.

"Well you're seen here, grabbing a yakisoba dish and not paying-"

"I didn't! That's not me sir! I'd never steal food."

While he was lecturing her about the consequences, the realization hit her like a slap to the face.

"Nezu, sir. Have you been keeping up with the news? Because I can only say this personally, but I think this is a doppelgänger."

"Oh?"

Nezu pressed his small paw to his face. He stared contently at (Y/N) processing the accusation she had said. It made sense to him, he believed her to be a star student, capable of becoming a top 10 hero, but something about the word 'doppelgänger' just didn't sit right.

"You know is never take something without either returning it, or paying for it. I truly skipped lunch today sir. I was trying to finish up a project!"

"Hmmm...okay...I'll keep an eye out with the cameras. I'll let it be a warning. Thank you (Y/N)."

She backed up from the desk, and bowed to her principal. Once she excused herself and opened the door, she noticed Ochaco had looked up from her phone.

"Ooh so did you get in trouble?"

"No..in fact, I may have just proved my theory."
