Lawn(prologue)

  From an early age Kalais felt that there was something much greater than him that he was just unaware of, Kalais was an orphan and lived with his foster family, he got along swell with his family, he's been with them for years now but he still felt that he never really fit in with them, he always just shrugged off the feeling but lately its been nagging him harder than usual, he sat on his lawn with his bare feet and his school clothes, he was in middle school, a 8th grader and by this time everyone was figuring out what they wanted to do with themselves in their near future, Roland , Kalais's only friend already knew exactly what he wanted to do he was going to get into accounting but Kalais still didn't know what he wanted to do his mind went to one of the military soldiers he saw a week ago, a woman with bright curly hair and green eyes, they returned from fighting the Covets. 

The Covets was ruthless impure beings that had emerged from within another planet, The Forbidden it was a planet no one dared to go to for even the creatures that lurked there was an abomination, they killed whenever they liked and looked purely disturbing you'd think they emerged from hell. The Covets tamed some of these savages and kept them as pets the Covets were savages themselves and could shape-shift, they was incapable of showing any emotion and was hated by the Tameik. 

  Kalais felt an immeasurable amount of respect for the Tameik soldiers who was fighting to protect their planet from the Covets who wanted to destroy it, Kalais snapped back to reality as he now knew what he wanted to do...as his mother was calling his name from the porch "Kalais its time to eat I've been calling you for twenty minutes now" Kalais got up off the blue grass and dusted off his jeans and strolled inside after his mother. Kalais got ready and sat at the dinner table with his family, he was beside his older sister Neihelm his brother Jarel sat across from him next to their mother and their father at the head of the table. Their mother was sharing out the food, they was having malboro for dinner, it was a Tameik delicacy and had to be prepared carefully to remove the poison "so have you decided what you want to do when you graduate Kalais" Kalais father had asked curiously as in Tameik culture its required for the children to have in mind what they were going to do when their older in documentation so they can make a smooth transition into their career when the time comes "actually yes" everyone looked up from their food in curiosity "oh really!? what did you have in mind?" his mother asked as she was directing all her attention on Kalais "i-i was thinking of joining the Tameik military" a mass of disbelief was spread across the room "are you serious?" Jarel asked shocked but impressed, he had a strong hatred for the Covets and at one time wanted to join the military but couldn't due to a permanent injury "thats way too dangerous" Neihelm spoke out before their mother sarted to sob "my baby is all grown up now, going off in the big world" "you sure you wanna do this?" the father had questioned "yea im sure" it was settled then.
