Chapter one

I woke up,slightly groogy,as my usual saturday morning begins,Jumped out of my kingsized,then,it hit me.I was 18! The big one,i was a child no longer!it felt amazing.

Walking down stairs,i was greeted by a very exited west highland terrier,yeah,thats my dog,daley.Daley trotted at my heels into my kitchen,my mum embraced me in a tight hug,'HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATIA'screamed minnie,my 17 year old sister,shes the pretty one.sparkley blue eyes,long,thick wavy hair,perfect body.My dad had a mischevious smirk on his face and he fidgeted nervously on his chair,he was up to something,i could tell.

I sat down and nibbled at my toast,anxious to open my presents.minnie handed me a small box,wrapped in glittery butterfly paper.I gently tugged at the corner of the paper,taking care not to rip it.Inside was a small purple velvet box,i opened it to find a silver charm,a heart with 'k&m'enscriped in the silver.i gasped and ran to hug my beautiful little sister"thankyou,so much,i love you"i whispered.she gave me a shy smile and hugged me back.next came the present that would come too change my life.My dad slid a plain white envolope with 'katia'inked on the fornt across the table,i glanced oddly at him,he just stared back at me.i ripped open the envolope,revealing 3 tickets,but tickets to what?i turned them over,revealing'olympic diving final london 2012'

I let out a gasp,then the loudest scream,i ran over and hugged my mum and dad,thanking the over and over again.After opening my other gifts,i excused my self to go and get dressed,i texted my bestfriend ellie;

Too; Ellie!

OMG ELLS!I GOT TICKETS TO TOMS FINAL,OMG,OMG!COME WITH ME?OMG SO EXCITED

Two minuites later my iphone buzzed,

From;Ellie!

OMG KATS!OF COURSE,WILL JACK BE THERE!OMG,IM FREAKING OUT!

You see my bestfriend in the world Ellie Morris,She turned 18 back in january,has a huge crush on jack laugher,shes another beautiful girl,thin as a pin,with long brown hair,and the coolest eyes,one blue,one half blue half brown,shes a karate genuis,and a ace runner,thats how we met,at my running club.

So,the best birthday ever,and a roadtrip,with my bestfriend all in one day,WOW.
