annabeth POV: so my stepmother left with Bobby and Mathew so my dad is re marrying a woman named Angela. she has a daughter who's 14 named Emma, a 19 year old son named Shane and twin girls who're both 8 named Libby and Carrie. the twins girls look alike with blue eyes and brown hair but Emma has wavy blonde hair and blue eyes she told me that Angela is her stepmother and was her guardian since her dad died.
"my dads last words were 'find camp half blood and you'll be safe'" she whispers to me.
"after this we bail and head there" I whisper back
"okay" she whispers and smiles at me.

at the reception: Emma and I get ready to leave when a hand clamps my shoulder
"where are you going?" slurs Shane. oh great he's drunk. I try to push his hand off but fail. suddenly there's a low growling and a hellhound runs in the door. Shane pushes me towards the hellhound and runs away. the hellhound bounds over and starts licking me
"down girl!" I say, laughing. Mrs. O. Leary plops down by my feet and looks at Emma who's looking kind of nervous
"hey its okay. she's friendly" I say. Emma takes a step forward. and Mrs O Leary stands up and licks her and she laughs. I suddenly realize why Mrs O Leary was sent here. something is happening.
"Emma quick, come with me!" I say. Emma follows me out the door and as we're heading out the main hotel door, someone grabs me from behind.
"hey annabeth" I smile and try to turn around
"hey Percy" I say. suddenly I'm spun around and Percy kisses me.
"no PDA please!" we pull away and laugh. how long has Nico been standing there? I look over at Emma who's standing next to him.
"aww you guys are so cute together!" she says. suddenly there's a flash of light and we're back in camp half blood.
