I'm using The Only Exeption by Paramore for this chapter. I know that I will probably use them a lot but I basically know all their songs so I'm sorry. Anyway, here it is!
6.
"Why are you here?" I only then realised that was rude and tried to go back on it. I coughed. "Em. Come to my room."
I led him upstairs and held the door of my room open for him. I thought it was a modest room. It was purple with stripy curtains and a purple rug. There was a double bed on the far side and a desk on another, opposite the cupboard. Damon obviously thought otherwise.
"Woah. Huge room." There was a flicker of emotion behind his voice and I smiled. I was getting through. "Anyway." He slumped onto the bed and I sat down behind him. "Using the excuse of you leaving your pencil case." He chucked me my pencil case I mumbled a thanks. "I just wanted to say sorry, I don't know what happened before. I've never felt for anyone but her and I swore but. Yeah. I spent a year building these walls and you've found a door. Or a pick axe, I haven't decided yet." He smiled and a chuckled slightly.
He picked up my hand and started to fiddle with my fingers, threading his through them before taking them out and doing it again. I was surprised but didn't stop him. If this is possible I felt more comfortable like that, fire spreading through my spirals and the line growing. "So I've decided not to leave you, I can't. I know that it's just a matter of time before you break through and whilst I'm, to be honest, scared of the past I'll trust fate. I'm don't love you yet, I never said that, I'm just giving myself, you a chance. I've gone for pick axe so, you have one chance for my wall to crumble before I change the cement. I'll go now. Bye."
"Bye." He walked out while I stayed in my room, just thinking about the monologue. I heard him laugh and smile, Zoe turned and gave me a look, surprise I think. I smiled back. "He gave me a chance." I whispered, curling up into a ball and rocking back and forth. "If he thinks I have a pick axe, I'm coming with a bulldozer."
I leaned back and forgot the day in the blankness, the dreamless sleeps I've had since...

I woke up to that really annoying alarm that is on my iPad. Being careful not to smash it with the baseball bat in the corner. Lifting myself up I found what's left of my maths homework scattered on the floor.
"TYLER ARTHUR KING!" I didn't bother looking at the time but he's always in my house by the time I wake up. Someone opened the door. "You're not Tyler."
"No, I'm Kyle. Here to tell you that 10:28 is not the time to be shouting for someone." Actually, he's probably right. No he's not! It's half 10! God, I'm crazy. He rubbed his eye with the bottom of his hand. Eh, Callum would wake him up in 2 minutes anyway. "And on a Saturday."
"Half 10 Already! Woah, I've slept in a bit. Where's Tyler?"
"Downstairs having breakfast. Copying some sheets."
"Yeah, my maths. Move." I pushed past him and looked over the banister. "Tyler, stop copying my...Damon?"
"I've successfully achieved cloning." Tyler leaned over the table. "I've done with your maths anyway. It's back in your room." I shot daggers at him before looking back to Damon.
"Hi?" I tried to find a reason why he's here. "Hi." He laughed at me.
"We have to finish our History off desperately now."
"It is finished." He narrowed his eyes at me and tilted his head slightly towards Tyler. "But I guess we could make it better. Come up. I'll only be a minute."
He closed the door and stared at me while I got clothes out so I could change out of my tank top and shorts. "What I'm about to say will really confuse you but make things easier for me later."
"Right."
"This will not leave this room."
"Understoood."
"I was 16. She was different."
