(Yoongi POV)

The night before, I slept in Minjae's room. No, not on the ground. Ji-Dan was hurriedly shooed our of her room, and I slept on the top bunk. I felt pretty guilty, kicking her out of her bed. This seemed to be a theme today. Me feeling bad for Minjae's kid half-sister.

I couldn't help it, either. Something about that girl screamed about her quiet strength. She didn't speak often, but when she did, her words scorched. She only spoke to... well, to roast people. Ji-Dan had that attitude that told others that she didn't get along with the human race, and she didn't give a damn as long as they didn't bother her. She wouldn't help the human race, she wouldn't hold it back. She just refused to acknowledge it.

It had snowed more, but the sunshine melted anything that would hold me back. Minjae was still asleep, his parents, too. I'm entirely certain that everyone is sleeping. Everyone but me, it seems. And I don't mind. I walk down the stairs, careful not to make any creaking sounds, and I go to make myself a bowl of cereal and some hot cocoa.

I put the mug in the microwave and pass the place that Ji-Dan ran to yesterday. I couldn't help but flinch at the bright snow as it melted away, leaving behind it's remnants on the grass. I failed to see Ji-Dan herself, however.

She was on a branch of a sturdy tree, and naturally, I didn't see her. I went outside, still in my nightclothes that I borrowed from Minjae, who is much taller and bigger than me. I sigh deeply, enjoying the puff of air that leaves my mouth, the refreshingly cold winter air, and the soft crunching of the snow under my feet.

"Wah!" I hear distantly. "Wah! What am I going to do?"

I look up at a huge tree that is hanging out in Ji-Dan's backyard. And sure enough, there is Ji-Dan hanging onto a branch about fifteen feet high. She's dangling helplessly as the light sheen of ice urges her already frozen pink fingers to slip. "Wah! Wah!"

"Yah! Ji-Dan Ah! How did you get up there?" I shout, going directly beneath her. "Why would you do that?"

She nearly slips off, but somehow manages to grip a part of the branch farther along, and hugs it close. I mean, she is hanging on for dear lifeU. "Yah! Yoongi Ssi, you scared me! Umm... I came up here... to... do something, and... umm... could you get me down?"

Ji-Dan sounds absolutely terrified. "You're not afraid of heights, are you?" She shakes her head. Okay, that's good. I'm about Four feet and four inches, short for my age, which means I can't really help like this. "There's a branch directly underneath-"

I'm cut off by her screaming as she falls, nullifying my plan immediately. I run under her, and catch her. She lands about a foot away from me in a pile of snow. "Thank God! Are you okay?"

"Yep." Ji-Dan blows her snowed on hair out of her eyes. "Just peachy."

We both go inside, and she goes to get changed. I go to make some breakfast, but I'm unsure about what to make.

"Yoongi-ah!" Minjae And Ji-Dan come in. "Good morning. Do you want some... cereal?" Ji-Dan is still shaking from just now, but Minjae doesn't seem to notice. She goes back out the door, wearing a new jacket, but the same clothes as before.

"Morning, Jae. Yeah, that would be fine. I'm going to go check something out."

And my sneaking suspicions are correct: Ji-Dan is climbing again. "AHEM. Are you really climbing up that again after just now?"

"No, I'm climbing down it." She rolls her eyes. "Of course I'm going back up there, I left something!" She grunts as she finished climbing a branch.

I don't get it. What could possibly be so important that she's climbing up the tree that she just fell down? "What did you leave, Yah, Ji-Dan?"

"My. Lyric book." She hisses out. "It's got all my songs, and raps, and emotions, and I don't think I could survive without it!"

She writes lyrics? "You write lyrics? Aren't you a bit young to write lyrics? Are they even good?"

"Will you ever find out if I don't go get the freaking book? No! So, quit it!" She swats at a blackish looking thing that is in the ledge of a branch. She hits it hard enough that if flies out of the tree into her backyard. I clamber to catch it, and start reading the lyrics.

I read for a few minutes as Ji-Dan struggles to get out of the tree. She's shouting something I can't quite understand, and I remain gaping at her lyrics as she finally groans in frustration and throws herself off the tree.

"Min YOONGI! Give it to me! Right now, give my lyrics back!"

"These are yours? How do you even know this many words?" I flip through, using my height as an advantage to tease her. "Why are they so relatable? Ji-Dan, this is good!"

At an almost unhealthy speed, heat rushes to her face and I can see the blush through her flushed expression. "Yeah. They are mine... I read a lot, so I know more words than other eight years olds. And I... I don't quite know why you think it's relatable. Thanks." She finishes of white a soft whisper, and I can't help but smile. I hand it back.

It's always the ones with the tough act, huh? I can relate. My list of people that I like: Minjae, Noona, anyone in Minjae's family, Daewon, Kyung-Jo, and Do Woon. That's a total of maximum eight. Even my parents didn't make it onto that list. Those are the people I don't act tough to. Anyone else? Must be important.

I shouldn't be surprised that Ji-Dan has such lyrical abilities. Minjae is a composer for the drum beat in our band. It must be a sibling thing.

The two of us go inside to eat the breakfast Minjae made. He pulls Ji-Dan aside, and from what we talked about last night, I can tell that he must be saying something about yesterday.

(Ji- Dan POV)

Minjae pulled me aside. "I'm so sorry. I was wrong. I know I can never take back what I did yesterday by breaking your promises, but is there anything I can do?"

The words slip off my tongue before I can catch them. "Lie to me."

"What?" Minjae looks at me confused.

"I'll forgive you if you lie to me about something everyday. A lie a day, to me. And that's all. I forgive you. Starting today. Lie to me." I explain briefly

"Umm... Okay. Something important?"

"Doesn't have to be."

"I... can I lie to you after breakfast?"

"Sure thing. Thank you..."

"You should call me Oppa."

"Oppa."

Mom and Dad gave him a talking to, but knowing this response, Yoongi talked to him, too. I'll make today easy.

"Oppa, did Yoongi Ssi talk to you about yesterday?"

His face scrunched a bit. "No."

"Now you don't have to lie after breakfast~" I say, hugging him before sitting down by Yoongi.

(Minjae POV)

That has to be the weirdest payback method a sister has used ever. Only you, Ji-Dan. Only you.
