'does he know how much I yearn to be with him? Listen to him? or at least breath the same air that he breathes?' Debra thought to herself while as she stalked her crush from a distance.Nelson Hoogers, with his baby face and athletic body, managed to steal the hearts of most girls in Debrah's school. He didn't even need to date Susan, the lead cheerleader,to be popular. Debra had been head over heels for him since the beginning of highschool. Now that they were in their final year, she was not sure if she was ever going to have enough guts to tell him how she felt. Like most girls at her school, all she could do was stalk him.
'how bad I want those strong arms to carry me -' her thoughts froze immediately Nelson turned his head and they caught eyes. 'crap!' she thought,as she looked around awkwardly. 'he spotted me'.
"Hey!" Nelson called out while waving from a distance and her eyes jolted up to look at him.
"M-m-me?" She stummerd in disbelief. 'After all these years of learning in the same class, had Nelson finally noticed me?' she thought to herself,'is this really happening?'. Her heart was filled with so much  joy. She nearly collapsed as she watched him approach. This was it, the moment she had always been waiting for. The moment she finally tells him how big of a crush she has had since the very first day she saw him. He was getting closer, and with her hands clumped to her chest, she let the words flow right out of her mouth,"oh,Nelson i-"
Suddenly a sharp familiar voice came from behind Debra,"baby?!". She knew exactly who it was and dropped her hands in disappointment .
"Baby!", Susan screamed again in excitement as she wrapped her arms around Nelson and then kissed him, a complete slap on Debras face. The worst part of the scenario is that they were standing right in front of her.
'damn it!' Debra thought,'did I really think Nelson would actually want to talk to me?!' suddenly the sirens blurred and break time was over. It was time to go back to class and Debra was actually grateful this time .the siren was just enough to separate the two lovebirds and put her out of her misery.

Debra sat quietly in class as she waited for the teacher. Other students did the same but most of them rampaged the classroom like a circus.
"Psst,Debra?", whispered a familiar voice from behind.
Debra rolled her eyes and turned to face Timmy ,"what?!".
"Nothing, just wanted to say hi?", Timmy responded cheerfully.
"Hi," Debra said with a bored expression.
"How did you sleep?", Timmy asked again.
'this boy just never knows when to stop ' Debra thought to herself as she sighed in frustration. "My night was good, thank you Timmy!". Saved by the bell, the next teacher walked in and the lesson began.
"Today we are going a little deeper into the dark forest of algebra ....", the teacher started and Debra already found herself drifting into deep thought about the woods. The vision about the strange boy flooded her mind, dean. There was something about him that seemed off and dangerous, but at the same time that was exactly what made Debra interested in knowing more about him. Maybe if they did meet again, she would be able to find out more about where he comes from. The moment the lesson ended, Debra quickly packed her bags and rushed out of class. She couldn't wait to go back to the woods again.
Debra was wrong to have celebrated too early because Timmy followed her out of class immediately it was over. She was already frustrated with the hard math lesson she had just had. All she wanted was to be alone and Timmy wasn't making things easier for her.
"Cool stuff right?" Timmy asked as he joined her walking down the hall ," the math I mean...like when he said algebra...."
Debra just sighed but carried on listening in silence to whatever Timmy was blabbering about. Suddenly her mind trailed off and she found herself thinking about Dean.
'he is just so strange...and so beautiful... intelligent...I wonder if i will find him when I walk through the woods today...not that I really want to,he is still kind of a stranger and i should be cautious...but I wouldn't mind...he is undoubtedly hot-"
"Debra!" Her thoughts stopped when she heard Timmy yell her name.
"What?",she growled ,avoiding to yell.
"I kinda lost you there",he giggled.
'He is lucky that his cute smile always stops me from punching him right in the stomach' Debra thought to herself.
"I was asking if youre going to be using the school bus today?",he continued.
"No",she responded,"I would rather walk home".
Timmy looked shocked "isn't your home far? I could-"
"I know a short cut through the woods. I will be fine".
"Alright",he shrugged ",gotta go and catch the bus,see ya!". With that, he jogged out of the school entrance. It was at that moment when Timmy left that she noticed the silence. she looked around and realized she was all alone,'i guess it's my turn to leave'. But as she walked down the empty hall, she couldn't help but feel an unfamiliar presence silently watching her.

Stacy felt a cold hand touch her leg and she jolted up in a sitting position. 'oh,its only Jerry',she thought to herself. He was looking up at her with longing eyes, the same look he always gave when he looked at the book.
"Why in the world are you so cold?" Stacy questioned.
"I needed something...in the kitchen", he responded, sounding unsure.
"What is-?" Stacy gasped ,"are you shivering". She quickly held him tightly in her arms,"come here,we don't want you getting a fever."
He stiffened the moment she held him, then softened ."Stacy...", he whispered lustfully on her neck, but his voice a little deeper than usual.
"Yes,Jerr-", before she could finish talking, she was flipped effortlessly and found herself under him. She looked at his face as he looked down at her. His eyes where darker than usual and he breathed heavily. There was something different about him. Something wild. "Jerry...", She quivered but she knew not even the fear in her eyes could stop him...

Debra closed the novel and sighed, reading felt like therapy to her. And the cool wild blowing from the lake made things better. She started to imagine herself as the character Stacy in the book, having run away with her boyfriend jerry. Obviously they did things that couples do, the thought made Debra blush. She imagined what it would be like to be with a boy. one thing she noticed was how she was now able to see what made boys so different and attractive,it annoyed her sometimes . She decided to drown those thoughts with the view of the lake.
It looked so beautiful under the moonlight. It sparkled and moved like black silk. The trees stood firmly and tall like guardians watching over an enchanted beauty, which it was. This was where she felt calm and happy. Away from everyone and everything, just her and nature.
She crawled closer to it,suddenly longing for its water. The moment she looked down and saw her reflection, she gasped because for a moment, it almost looked like somebody else; with darker eyes and hair, skin as pale as the moon and crimson red lips.
She watched her reflection carefully just to make sure she was not seeing things.
Just when she was ready to conclude that the woods may be playing with her mind, water splashed on her face from the place where her reflection was and she crawled backwards quickly. She used the sleeve of her shirt to wipe the water from her face. it was when she looked up that she finally saw it ; a dark, tall figure standing over her. It was wearing a black robe and its wet dark hair covered most of its face. All she could see was a nasty side smirk that exposed a good set of sharp canines.
'what the hell? What the hell?what the hell?' her mind was racing, unable to make up a rational explanation to all this. Whatever was standing before her was definitely not human. She felt herself going in and out of consciousness and her body was too weak to even move; 'this has got to be a dream?!'.
The figure started to move closer in a form of gliding and her heart raced. She could almost hear it beating through her ear drums.
She suddenly felt a tingle under her nose. Placing two fingers under it to check, she felt something warm and wet. She checked and couldn't believe what she saw,'blood?! A nosebleed?!', she had never experienced a nosebleed before until this night. The very moment she saw the blood on her hand, the world started to spin and everything suddenly went peach black.
