Chapter 14: Training

Your P.O.V.

Thursday Morning

Knock, Knock

"Rise and shine! Get dressed caz we start training after breakfast." Evan called.

I groaned as my head flopped. I slightly opened my eyes to see Evan in the doorway. His excited smile agitating me. I sighed as I threw off my blanket.

"I'm up." I groaned.

He curtly nodded before he backed away, closing the door. I dragged myself up, feeling an intense headache spread. My face scrunched as the pain thumped.

'I'm probably getting sick.'

I shuffled to my closet and pulled out a suitable work-out outfit. I quickly changed into it, out of sight. I made my way out of my room. As I neared the kitchen, screams filled my aching head. I groaned, feeling a sour mood grow.

"Good morning!" Nogla shouted.

His shout causing me to grunt and squeezed my eyes shut.

"Morning," I tiredly replied, "Do we have any aspirin or painkillers?"

"Top shelf here." Nogla said as he pointed next to him.

"Thanks," I mumbled as I made my way to it. I opened the door and grabbed the first bottle I see. As I screwed the lid off, Nogla spoke to me.

"Headache?" he asked. I nodded as I tipped the bottle over my palm. I swallowed the single pill that fell before screwing the lid back on. I placed the bottle into the cabinet and looked to Nogla.

"What's for breakfast?" I asked.

"Steak and hashbrowns." he answeres with a proud grin.

I faintly smiled at him as he handed me a plate. He smiled back.

"Thank you Nogla." I said. I made my way to the dining table, blocking out everyone's voice. I cut my steak to pieces and chewed it. The tangy flavors spread.

'I'm going to start asking Nogla for tips. He's a really great cook.'

As I nearly finished my entire breakfast, a voice spoke to me.

"F/N!" they shouted. I looked up to see concerned, dark brown eyes. I realized Jade had been trying to speak to me.

"Sorry. I'm really out of it today." I quietly said to her. She smiled at me.

"I can tell. Anyways, you excited?" she asked energetically. I looked back down at my plate as I smiled. I chewed a piece of my hash brown and looked up at her. I grinned, her energy radiating off of her.

"Hell yeah. They're not ready." I softly said. Amusement radiated in her eyes.

"Damn right they're not. The best part? I get to watch and record the whole thing." Jade chuckled. I huffed a laugh, feeling a smile grow on my face. However, it quickly dispersed as Mini spoke to us in a serious tone.

"(F/N), Jade, Matt, Col, and Jackson. Come with me." he commanded.

I looked to Jade, confused. She stared back at me with the same expression. She stood up, causing me to stand up with her. I looked to everyone else who had quieted down. Their expressions all held a deep anger, but none could compare to Evan and Delirious.

"(F/N), let's go." I looked to him and huffed in annoyance. I walked next to Jade as he led us upstairs. We followed in silence, tension swarmed the air around us. As we reached the top of the stairs, Mini continued down the hallway. The clicking of Mini's sandals against his heels was the only thing piercing the air. I grew tired of it and, finally, dared to speak.
