So a lot of people came and gave me presents... but there was two people that I really wanted to see or even hear... shit even smell right now
... my parents...
I haven't gotten a text or a call from either of them...
What if they forgot it was today!?
My eyes start getting watery thinking about it
... I don't think so... they're my parents... they should know... right?
My thoughts get cut off by Jacob busting through the door
Jacob: HAPPY BIRTHDAY LITTLE SISTER!!!
He had a cake in his hand and a grocery bags. And behind him was Elle with a present in her hand
I help Jacob with the bags and put them on the counter and start putting them away
He got candles, And Ice Cream
I put the ice cream in the freezer and the candles I left them on the counter
He puts the cake down and hugs me. I hug back and we pull apart
Elle: Happy birthday Jennifer
Jennifer: thank you
She hugs me and gives me the present
Jennifer: thank you
Elle: your welcome
Jacob: Open it
I open it and there is a perfume, Lipgloss and a couple of cases in there. I smile and hug both of them
Jennifer: thank you, thank you
Elle/Jacob: your welcome
Jacob: so who's here?
Jennifer: the gang
Jacob: alright
He goes and says hi to the boys and Destiny and Carmen. And so does Elle
I still thinking about my parents
Geo: you alright?
Jennifer: huh-uh, Yea I'm.. im good
Geo: okay
Jacob comes over and opens the cake
Jacob: CAKE TIME!!!
Everyone comes running to the kitchen
I quickly checked the time and it was already 9:00
Damn this day went by fast
I pull out my camera and give it to Destiny to record
They sing happy birthday to me and we eat cake
•They later leave except for Elle.. she's with Jacob•
I look at my phone and no messages from my parents... no call, no nothing
I clean up and go up to my room with Athena
I lay on my bed and Athena lays in her little place in my room
I keep looking at my phone wishing for a message from my parents... nothing comes up

My eyes start to get watery... I start to cry
What the fuck? Nothing from my parents... not a single thing...
I wiped my tears and go to the restroom and change into some sweat pants and a long sleeve shirt and take off my makeup
I lay back down and look at my phone again...
