The Beginning

Long, long ago, before history was ever recorded, there was a kingdom. In this grand empire a beautiful maiden by the name Keres ruled. Keres was just of age to take over the crown when her parents had passed in a tragic incident in which no-one is to speak of in her presence. The kingdom she ruled was namedThe Kingdom of Erudus which was believed to be the most powerful and mightiest of its time. Very few enemies dared to attack or call war upon her region for fear of the consequences that would indefinitely follow. Those few who did however faced the wrath of an unforgiving queen who stopped at nothing until their domain was nothing more than a crumble of dirt and ashes on the ground.

Keres would be described by her people to be gorgeous beyond compare, she had long dark ebony hair, pale unmarked skin, and bright dark blue storm colored eyes. She owned many beautiful gowns but it would seem her favorites would be the dark red and darker shaded gowns that looked as though she had them dyed with blood itself. She had been heard once saying that she had grown fond of the bloody shade of red after her parents were found to have been slaughtered by a thief, on the night of her 19th birthday. The simple handmaiden who had told the rest of the castle staff about this offhand comment was soon replaced with a much quieter older woman who only spoke the bare minimum of words to get jobs and chores completed. The staff assumed the other handmaiden was simply placed on a different time schedule but it was only later discovered that the handmaid was never heard from again.

Keres and her kingdom was a force to be reckoned with, like previously stated many neighboring kingdoms didn't dare pronounce war against, or for the matter set foot within the boundaries of, her province. but there was one brave region who seemed to be insistent on her downfall and that would be The Kingdom of Jendam. Jendam's ruler was ruthless, maybe even more so than Keres, especially in the art of destruction. Queen Timina of Jendam was seen as another force of unmatchable power. It seemed when Timina arose to power that Keres finally had an equal, either that or the two would go back and forth in battle until one was finally deemed the stronger conquerer. Or the two completely leveled the land of the world with their destruction and they destroy not only each other but all who live on god's mighty earth.

With every battle the two kingdoms fought against each other the rest of the world felt as though the downfall of the era of humans was imminent, and this most definitely would have been the case if It wasn't for Timina's brother Prince Zander.
