Isla's pov
I wake up tired and suddenly aware of my surroundings my dad looming over me with a half smirk on his face
'Morning isla you need to come downstairs we have a surprise for your birthday'
'Okay ill be down in a minute'
Dad goes downstairs dancing around
Downstairs
'Isla open up the envelope' mom said
'Okay okay why is everyone so ...'
Id opened the envelope to find a ticket to see my favourite band .. palaye royale and one more ticket to los angeles with a pair of keys.
'Mom why are there keys in here too?'
'Because thats the keys to your apartment in la that we bought you'
'Omg guys thankyou so much i love you'
' but isla you need to hurry along because your plane leaves in 30 mins'
'WHAT!?? okay i need to go and change real quick'
'We will drive you to the airport so that you go safely'
Time skip to the airport
I stand there looking at my parents crying and waving goodbye and hug them and depart.
I found my seat in row 21 and seat 15 and we started to take off. Im still tired so i started to fall asleep with the pure genius of the song ma chèrie ringing from earphones.
This was going to be a long trip but well worth it...x
