It's complicated

Chapter 1 - The reunion

~Sams POV~

I was currently sitting in Starbucks with my four favourite people in the world, laughter filled our table as we caught up on the 2 weeks we hadn't seen each other. Georgia and Lucy's younger brother, Jai had been sent to hospital because he wasn't keeping his diabetes in control. Me and Luke had physically dragged them out of there house to come for a 'catch up sesh' as we called it.

"So after they discharged jai from the hospital, we came home to catch up on some needed sleep" Georgia explained, her emerald green eyes sparkled at the name of her now good health brother. Her long blond wavy hair now reached her waist and contrasted with the lilac top she wore. She sat next to her boyfriend Luke, leaning on his shoulder as her pecked her cheek from time to time

"yeah but now jai's excuse is that he can't do anything because if his diabetes" Lucy sighed, just like her sister, Lucy's hair was long, blonde and wavy. But instead of green, Lucy inherited her dad's ocean blue eyes.

"so we" she used her finger to gesture between her and her sister,

"have to do all the house work, it sucks" she frowned, I mentally smiled at how cute she look when you frowned. Wait did I just call her cute? Don't tell Georgia, she'll fry me alive.

All of a sudden Lucy jumped out of her seat "would anyone like a second drink?" She asked everyone agreed, then told her what they wanted. She typed all the orders on her phone before walking over to the counter.

While she was gone the three of us stared messing around until Luke accidentally nocked a plate on to the floor, the broken fragments scattered all around the cafe but no one seemed to notice. "you idiot" Georgia hissed to her boyfriend.

"It was an accident babe, calm down someone will clean it up before it does any damage" he replied, they had been dating for nearly a year now and because they were at the same collage, they shared an apartment together, which is cute unless you stay with them...

Just then Lucy can strolling over with our orders until she winced and tray she was holding slipped though her hands.

"Ouch!" She said looking at her foot, I followed her gaze until I saw what she was looking at. We all knew Lucy fainted at the sight of blood so all three of us grabbed hold of her at the same time she passed out.

"Some call 911!" Georgia screamed making people shocked and confused.

Lucy's POV

While I was waiting in the line to grab everyone's drinks, I looked over to see that Jake, my ex-boyfriend who had cheated on me was sitting with a bunch of my old friends, are eyes met for a short second. Blinking my tears to the back of my eyes I look at my feet before I caused a scene, after our breakup (which was 3 months ago) he told everyone that I cheated on him, even though it was the other way round. I tried to convince my best friends Izzy and Lizzie but a few days later I found out they were saying stuff about me behind my back. Ever since then Iv been hanging out with my sister with her friends, and to be fair they understand me more than my best friends did, even though there all 19 and I'm 17.

"Can I take your order please?" the women at the cashier said, snapping me out of my thoughts. I told her all of my orders as she added the price up on her till.

"That's £12.35 please" she said, turning around to complete my order. I walked to the side of the counter so I wasn't in the way of the next customer, just then I felt a warm hand touch my shoulder, I turned around to see it was Jake.

"Lucy!" He said so enthusiastically it was kind of creepy "how have you been?" I gave him the best death stare I could before turning back around on my heels.

"I miss you" he whispered to my ear, I felt his hot breath against the back of my neck causing my skin to produce goosebumps.

"I don't!" I said after turning around to face him.

I grabbed a tray of drinks that were mine off of the counter, (they must of been placed there while I turned around) and turned back to face him "Just stay out of my way" I threatened before walking back to my table.

As I got closer the the table a felt a sharp pain from my foot, "Ouch!" I said just loud enough for my sister to hear, there was broken pot everywhere... Oh no, I looked down at my foot to see the pain dripping out. Blood. My worst fear.

Just before I blacked out I felt someone or maybe it was more than one person help me balance and then my sister shouting "someone call 911!"
