♤ UINSEANN ♤
I woke up when I felt someone nudging and poking my arm."Tyler, five more minutes please." I groggily said and faced the other side of the bed.
A hand suddenly slapped my face. Hard.
I sat up in a jolt. "WHAT WAS THAT FOR?" I snarled at her smug face.
"Just a good morning slap for your face." She said happily, like it was a good thing. "Atleast your pale skin looks rosy today. Mind if I slap the other one so you can get blushy?" She asked sweetly.
"You'll rather die." I flatly said.
"Why me? Should it be ' I'll rather die '?"
"I'm more imporant than you."
"Well-"
"Uinseann, Eizelle, can you two please stop?" I heard Marco's voice in a distance. "It's getting loud."
Heathre butted in, entering the room. "Well, well, pack your things, we're going somewhere for our new guy to get stronger." She looked at me and smiled.
Eizelle just nodded and went out to pack her things. I helped them pack since I have nothing to pack. "Oh, right, we need to buy an armor and a weapon for Uinseann after we go to the Government's Office." Marco said while packing.
"Why are we going to the government?" I asked. If we're going to the government, I'm going to see the king too?
"We're going there for your calling. We need to see if you're have wolf blood, an angel, or.....a demon or if you're a human, you might be a swordsman, hunter, mage, or a neutral one, like a jack of all trades. But of course, you can't master any, that's why a lot of people do not like it whenever it happens. after that we can buy what you need for your kind. " Heathre said while getting her bags and stuffed it in a small belt bag. I looked at it in astonishment. She noticed my reaction and laughed. "I'll buy you one of these later." I nodded. I bet that bag was quite expensive than a normal adventurer's bag.
We went out of the building and started walking. Without breakfast.
"Aren't we going to eat breakfast?" I asked Marco walking next to me, dragging Eizelle as she whines about her sleep being always cut after 5 hours.
He put his index finger across his lips. Shh, he widened his eyes.
He threw Eizelle's arms away from his waist and dragged me to his side. "We only eat whenever we're lost of mana." He whispered cautiously.
"Oh." I said. I never thought that I'll have to experience having mana like on rpgs. "Then why are you whispering? Is there something bad about it?"
"It's just that only royals can eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. You know, people sometimes eat some food from the palace's garbage when they're really out of mana." He whispered as he looked away. His hands balled into fists.
"There, there," Heathre patted his head. " I know someday, this world will be a better place." She smiled.
We walked with an akward silence, until Eizelle spoke.
"Oh, we're here. " Eizelle's voice echoed from behind.
The office remembers me of a high building from my world, only that it seemed that it was made wood, but still it looks sturdy to me.
Marco held my shoulder and guided me inside.
"W-why does it look so...horrific?" I asked. This site is totally dark and it kind creeps me out.
