Chapter 2 Switzerland

"it is cccoooolllldddd" i shivered

"of course honey. Didn't i tell you we were going skying ?"he smiled while saying this.

i looked at him with daggers(if looks could kill).for he new that in my whole entire life (so far) i have never skied or been to Switzerland. we are at Switzerland at this moment in time by the way. i still didn't forgive him for not telling me about the snow. as i didn't really packed for cold weather(for it was in the middle of an Indian summer back at home.)he told me to calm down as i was about to meet his parents for the first time today.

this was nerve wracking,for all i knew about his parents was that his farther(Harold) is a doctor and his mother (Suzanne) was a loya. the only thing i had in my mind was that i need to tern around and run as fast as i can. for i am just an actress nothing special but Derick always kept saying to me that "you're not just an actress your Amelia, my wonder girl." usually this sort of thing works on me but no not on this particular day of the month.

after we put our bags and that in our cabin. we had hot chocolate in the cafe while we were waiting for Derick's parents.oh don't worry Derick got me some new warm clothes as a peace offering.

it was an hour or so when they finally turned up,by then i had about 3 cups of hot chocolate,2 cups of coffee and 1 glass of water. so you can guess that while they were trying to talk to me and that they were happy to meet me ,but all what i could think about is that when were they going to stop talking and let me go to the toilet. luckily Derick noticed sort of swaying,for he knows i do that when there is something wrong so said

"mum,Dad would you like to sit down as i think Amelia might be a bit embarrassed by her hot chocolate moustache ."

this is code for mum dad go and sit down Amelia doesn't want to listen to your introduction speech all day thank you very much. after that episode i was more relaxed to sit down and talk to his parents.

by the end of the day we were all tiered as everyone was either skying or snow boarding,not me for i spent my time indoors for i tried to sky with Derick once but i accidentally crashed into this man who was meant to be in the winter Olympics well not any more as i broken his leg more than once in one place and also maybe his arms. i did say i was sorry. while this was happening Derick was at the back laughing at me and saying that he loves the fact i always get myself into trouble(hes on his own for that fact).

so you now know my secret that i spent my time in doors with a good book or at the Spa. but that was not the only thing we did on that day,for Derick did this sort of surprise picnic at the top of the Mountain.

the mountain had this beautiful romantic view of the sunset,and that one moment i felt like everything was perfect. everything was perfect just the way it is and no one can make anything more perfect. i was wrong. for the sunset was so breath taking that i did not realise that Derick was on one knee.

he whispered" Amelia Rose Smith will you marry me."

that moment everything freezed,like the cold was making time frozen and not just my fingers.

i looked at him with gleaming eyes with the same felling like on the day i first asked me for dinner and whispered

"YES"
