Chapter 1:
It is pretty empty today, I thought looking around nandos resturant and then going behind the counter where I was assigned since this was my first day on the job. I heard a ding come from up front and I shot up and greeted the customer with a smile. "Hello!" I said looking at the boy standing infront of me.
"Table for 1?" I asked still smiling at him and he looked up at me and placed his phone in his pocket.
"Yeah, it is just me.." He said looking me up and down, which I knew he was checking me out but since I was on the job I wasn't going to kick him in the area or anything like that.
I looked at my co-worker Linda who was typing on the cash register and she looked up at me. "A1 is availible." Is all she said to me and then rolled her eyes and continued doing whatever she was doing. I just turned around and cursed her out under my breath forgetting the boy was next to me. I looked over and gave an apoligitic glance but he just laughed and waved his hand saying it was alright. I sat him at the table Linda said to and handed him his menu, "Thanks" He said with a big smile looking up at me. "No problem, have a great day!" I said skipping back to the front counter and got back behind it. The boy was very attractive and looked around my age, since I was 18. I have never seen him like in person but his face reminded me of someone that my little sister used to talk about all the time. I turned around to see if I could possibly match the face with the name but no luck. I was about to turn around when he looked up at me and waved his hand, embarrasing. I shot back around maybe to fast because the water Linda was carrying to table B3 was knocked out of her hands and onto another young looking boy. I bit my lip not trying to laugh at the horrifing look Linda had on her face and a giggle slipped out. She shot around and walked up to me,
"You think this is funny?!" She screamed into my face and I stepped back cluchting my fist and trying not to lose my cool. I looked at the boy and he went to join the other boy, at that point I was very embarrased and my face was probably red as a tomato. "I can't believe you did that!" Linda said glaring at me.
"Oh don't worry I bet he enjoyed it.." I said smiling and looking over at the table which was now filled with 3 more guys and they were laughing and starring right at me.
"Since we are short on staff you will be waiting for those boys over there." Linda said pointing to the smiling boys and they waved at me, and my face went red as red could get.
