Chapter 6

Bedi House:

Nandani calls all her bahu for the haldi that is happening tomorrow noon. Tanuja says "All the arrangment is done don't worry ma". Ishani says " The catering services said they won't be able to come just last minute they called". Shivanya says "I can cook the food I did catering before I became a fashion designer". Nandani says "You will have to cook a lot of food don't it let me think of something". Shivanya says "I don't mind cooking a lot of food we all cook everyday for ourselves its completely normal". Nandani says "Ok fine you can cook the food but Tanuja and Ishani will help you will not refuse help from them i know you very well that you want to do this all on your own". She agrees to Nandani's request. Rishi comes with the guest list to Tanuja. He grabs her and pin her against the wall. He says "You didn't spend time with me all morning i miss you". Rishi kisses Tanuja cheeks. He surprises her with a gajra and says wear it tonight for mendhi and sangeet. Shivanya sets the lights in the pillar then Rithik comes to talk to her that all of suddenly the lights fall on them. The lights turned on which led to Rithik and Shivanya being romantic. He gets them out of the lights and challenges her to say I Love You in front of everybody in the haldi. She accepts the challenges but then gets worried how she is going to do it. After a while Rithik comes to Shivanya and says "Forget the challenge just spend time with me when you are free". All the bahu goes to the kitchen to start cooking the food they start by making a list what to make for the haldi,sangeet and mendhi.

Haldi:

Mendhi and Sangeet:

2. Thai Curry with a Indian twist

4. Noodles with Mango Chilli Sauce

6. Nihari

7. Heelem

8. Gulab Jaman

9. Pani Puri Shots

10. Samosa Chaat

They started making the food for the haldi first while cooking their respective husbands come to help them but actually the husband want to romance with their wife's. All the wife's give them a death stare to which they replied to "Are you going to eat us". They said "No but I will if you guys don't let us work". Ranveer starts throwing tantrums as he don't know what to wear Ishani comes to help him but they fight Ishani says "Why can't you do anything without me"? Ranveer says "Because you solve the problem better than I do". She says "No you just love to call me so that you can bug me". She is about leave but he grabs her and hugs her. He says "I call you because so I can see you during the day and romance with you one thing I don't like about you is that you have time for everybody but me". She says "Today I have a lot of work I got to go I talk to you later". Tanuja and Ishani go to the market for grocery while Shivanya starts cooking the things she can. Rithik comes to ask her "Rohan is getting married and all of us have to stay away from our wifes why". She says "There is a lot of work in a wedding the caterier just cancelled last minute and we have a lot of food to make stop bothering me" He says "You prove me today you don't love me Shivanya". Shivanya turns around kisses his cheeks to make it up to him says "Happy now I need to work now I will spend time with u at night". After few hours the food for haldi is finished then they are about to start to make the food for the mendhi and sangeet suddenly Shivanya faints. Rithik comes running to her and splash water but nothing works. Doctor comes to check her congrats the family as Shivanya is pregnant. Doctor says since she is above 40 yrs of age all of you need to very careful and take care of her. Rithik goes to see her and hugs her really tight. She hits him in the arm says " You are hurting the baby" then she started crying says " I already had three miscarriage I am scared that I will lose this baby too". Tanuja and Ishani finish making the food for mendhi and sangeet. The next day everybody is running around to get everything ready haldi. After the haldi is over all the bahu's start getting ready for mendhi and sangeet arrangments. The function gets started all the husbands are angry at their wife's that didn't give them time. All the wife's through out the function seek forgiveness from their husbands.
