Ooh girl you're shining
Like a 5th avenue diamond

Logan was sitting at an event that he was invited to by his brother Virgil, who invited his boyfriend, Roman, and their friend Patton.

And they don't make you like they used to
You're never going out of style

From across the room he could spot out one person in particular. They seemed to shine in his eyes. They were wearing a light baby blue suit that contrasts with his own navy blue suit.

Ooh pretty baby
This world might have gone crazy

Logan stared at the beautiful man as much as he could without his glasses, as the man walked over to Virgil and Roman. Then was Logan able to see him. He walked over to join this man and his friends.

The way you saved me,
Who could blame me
When I just wanna make you smile

As Logan walked up to him, he said hellos to Roman, Virgil, and his crush, Patton. Patton had looked at Logan and realized that he didn't have his glasses. Luckily Patton knew that he had a great chance of breaking or losing the glasses he had on at that time, that he brought an extra pair of his. "This probably won't help to much since we probably aren't the same prescription, but here." Patton smiled when Logan had put on the glasses after thanking him.

I wanna thrill you like Michael
I wanna kiss you like Prince
Let's get it on like Marvin Gaye
Like Hathaway write a song for you like this

One Direction had turned on and Patton dragged Logan out to the dance floor by the hand. The both had a light pink blush dancing across their face as they both looked at each other. Patton started giggling as he started hopping up and down with the crowd. Logan watched him and smiled, only thinking about how much he loved Patton and how cute he was.

You're over my head
I'm out of my mind
Thinking I was born in the wrong time
One of a kind, living in a world gone plastic
Baby you're so classic

Logan always felt like he was old for his age. He always felt that he should be from the 70's or 80's because back then they didn't have smartphones or tablets like they do now. But there was one thing that those two times did not have that he couldn't live without. That was Patton himself. Patton never changed, he was always his giggly punny self in this world that has now been all about being popular and fake. Patton was never fake and he was all the realness that Logan needed.

Four dozen of roses
Anything for you to notice
All the way to serenade you
Doing it Sinatra style

It was now the day after the party and all Logan could think about was how Patton has helped him and danced with him. He decided to serenade Patton slowly. Each day he got Patton a rose, eventually stopping after four dozen roses. He even thought about doing more but pulled away and only did the roses.

Ima pick you up in a Cadillac
Like a gentleman bringin' glamor back
Keep it real to real in the way I feel
I could walk you down the aisle

One weekend day, Patton and Logan were going to hang out as friends at the mall and go shopping because that is what Patton had wanted to do. Logan never really like the mall but he went along anyways. He had picked up Patton in his Cadillac that he had inherited from his father. Logan was thinking about the future as they walked around the mall. That day will be marked as the day we're Logan, the quiet man who hated emotions, asked out the bubbly, full emotions, Patton. He received a "Yes" in return.
