"YAH CHAERIN, GET YOUR LAZY ASS UP ITS ALMOST NOON!"

i groaned, still unconscious.

"CHAERIN COME ON!"

" leave me alone, i just want to sleep." i childishly whined, not wanting to leave the comfort of my bed.
the sound of restless footsteps grew louder until halting suddenly in the entrance of my room.

"chae come on, i wanna go already." whined one of the members.

still uncertain of who it was, i slowly opened my eyes, only to be met by the sight of a pouting sehun.

"what do you want?" i questioned wondering as to why he decided to wake me out of my peaceful slumber,

"we were supposed to hang out today since we have a free schedule, you said you wanted to go to the cafe with me." he sighed defeatedly.

"oh yeah, i forgot about that." i spoke, feeling apologetic about forgetting our plans. "let me get ready real quick and we can go."

"okay, don't take to long." he turned, making his way out of my room.

sliding myself from out under the covers i stretched, a noise of satisfaction leaving my mouth. i made my way to the restroom after grabbing one of the towels that hung from the rack. slowly sliding open the shower door i quickly reached to rotate the handle, the shower head above spouting out hot water in response. i hurriedly undressed and stepped in to the stream, sighing at the feeling of the hot water on my skin. i rushed to wash my hair and body, then made my way out of the shower.

after re-dressing and throwing my hair up into a bun, i left the restroom. i quickly put on a minimal amount of makeup, grabbed my shoes and purse, and made my way out of my bedroom.

"jeez, took you forever." sehun said sassily.

"shut it." i replied, quickly slipping my feet into my shoes and tying the laces.

"OKAY LETS GO!" sehun exclaimed happily as we stepped out of our dorm, and made our way to his car.

climbing into his car i fastened my seat belt and patiently waited for sehun to start driving. deciding that the atmosphere was too quiet i reached for the aux cord and connected it to my phone, only receiving a glance from sehun as a response. shuffling through my playlist i decided to play one of me and sehuns favorite songs; tapping play, i waited for the song to begin.

sehuns head whipped toward me, eyes widening as soon as the song started. "yesss, this is my shit!"

he continued to attempt to belt out the lyrics throughout the song with his broken english, as i danced happily in my seat.

"we're here." he said as he parked the car and then unbuckled his seat belt.

i unbuckled my seat belt and tried pulling the handle to open the car door but it wouldn't budge.

"sehun unlock the door." i looked over at him.

"nope, just wait a second." he climbed out his side of the car and made his way around the front of it until he reached my side.

what is he doing

he pressed the button on his keys and the car beeped signaling that the doors were now unlocked. he opened my door and stuck out his hand for me to grab.

"oh wow," i laughed " i guess chivalry isn't dead."

he only laughed, a large smile stretching across his face.

"let's go." he grabbed my hand and led me into the cafe, finding a table before telling me he'd go order for us.

not long after he made his way back to the table with two drinks in hand. he set mine down in front of me before taking a seat.

"i got you the taro bubble tea." he said " i thought you should try something different rather than getting mango every time."

"mango slaps." i responded jokingly "you can never go wrong with mango."

"true." he laughed "come on try it, i wanna see your reaction."

i slowly attached my mouth to the straw before taking a small sip

"mmhm" i hummed happily "this is really good."

"see, i told you you'd like it." he smirked knowingly.

"yeah, yeah." i waved him off "what flavor did you get?"

"chocolate," he smiled "it's my favorite."

"can i try it?" i asked "that sounds really good."

"sure." he handed over his drink

i took a sip, the familiar texture of the boba entering my mouth.

"oh my god why is this so good!" i said going in to take another sip.

"nope," sehun snatched the drink from my hands quickly "this is mine, drink your own."

i pouted, still wanting at least one more sip.
he sighed in response, his tough facade slowly breaking.

"fine, here," he said begrudgingly handing over his drink "but only one more sip."

"why thank you." i said, not hesitating to snatch the drink from his hands.

"damn chill." he laughed "it's not like it's going anywhere."

"here." i spoke, handing him back his drink.

"okay let's go." he said after we finished, he grabbed the cups and stood up from his seat. " i'm gonna go throw these away real quick, meet me at the car."

"okay." i made my way outside and started towards sehun's car.

only a few seconds later he made his way towards the car, unlocking it before opening the door for me.

"thanks." i mumbled, climbing into my seat.

the car ride home consisted of silence, not the awkward kind, but comfortable. upon arriving home, once again sehun opened the door for me. we made our way into the dorm before setting down our bags and slipping off our shoes.

"thanks." i said turning to face sehun, "i had a good time."

"me, too." he said, "let's do that more often."

i smiled happily and nodded, a similar smile making its way upon sehun's face as we grinned happily at each other.
