Emily's POV
I left school a little later then normal because of swim practice, I'm kinda glad that I did too. Everyday after swim practice I go to the Brew to finish any homework I have or to study. Since I was a little later the brew was packed, there was one table with a blonde sitting at it. She doesn't look familiar but she's absolutely stunning so I'm glad she's the only person at the table. I make my way over and we have a mini chat. I asked her what brings her here, she said she needed a little getaway. It made me sorta curious but my mother always taught me to mind my business, so that's what I did. We talked and laughed, I feel like I've known her for a for years. She told me where she's from and how school ended for her a week ago. Tomorrow is my last day, you're probably wondering why I still have swim practice, I do swim in the summer, it's something I love and I'm good at, plus it keeps me busy. Alison is scrolling on her phone, she must be popular because she gets loads of text. While she's been on her phone I've been admiring her taking in every detail, how she blushes, chuckles, and then looks down when she's nervous is just so adorable. You're probably thinking I'm creepy but if you don't know, I'm openly gay and no I'm ashamed, at first? Yeah of course i thought I was strange and a idiot, but now I know it's perfectly fine and it doesn't matter what gender I like. I look at my phone.

6:30 pm
2 missed calls from mom
mom: where are you?
han: your mom wants to know where u r
aria: should I dye my hair?
Spencer: want to come over and study?

I text them all back, I told my mother im still studying and for her to not worry. After I put my phone down I realize Alison is looking at me.

"It's getting late," Alison mentions. "Yeah I know, um can I have your number, it's just that I-" she cuts me off and puts her number I hope so in my phone. With that she pays for the meal, including mine oh wow, she winks at me and leaves. I know I'm blushing and smiling like a idiot but I can't help it. I look at my phone and see her contact.

I smile. I grab my stuff and head home.
