*At an apartment office*
Manager- Ma'am I'm sorry but we did send a maintenance man to your apartment a couple days ago. He claims that he sprayed the whole apartment for the bug infestation.
Mom- Okay. I have to walk all the way to this laundromat down the street because there is no washer and dryer connection here, then we have to drink and bathe in this disgusting tasting water here and on top of that we have to deal with this nasty bug infestation in our apartment. Oh let's not mention the loud and aggravating neighbors with the loud music! I pray to God that soon we will be out of here because this is a area where we don't belong.
Manager- I'm sorry you feel that way ma'am but we doing our best.
Mom- Let's go. Y'all have to get ready for school. *we all walk out of the office closing the door*
Sunny- Ughh. This is so tiresome having to make sure your baby is ready for daycare and make sure that he has enough milk for the day.
Sunday- Well you are breast feeding him. I bet you can't wait till he's on powdered milk and eating solid foods. And till he's walking around and playing.
Sunny- Whatever. I just can't wait till this is over. *walks away and goes to get ready for school*
Sunday- Hey buddy. Hope you be good at school today. I hope I do as well. I'm so glad I'm away from that old life. I pray one day when u get older that no one treats you like they treated me. TeeTee won't let them.
Mom- Let's go girls!
*everyone packs into the van and rides off*** Later that day at a local retail store**
Mom- *folding clothes and places them in a bag for a customer * That will be $203.45. *Customer hands her cash as she opens register and prints receipt* Thank you for shopping with us and please have a blessed day!
*Next customer walks up*
Customer- I would like to return this shirt.
Mom- Okay no problem. What is the issue with your return?
Customer- Well I tried it on but then it ripped.
Mom- Okay well we can't accept this return because you ripped it yourself. If you saw the tear before wearing it then it would be a damaged item and we would be able to give you a return.
Customer- Wth? I drove way up here and I can't trade for another shirt?
Mom- Ma'am the fabric that the shirt is made from is not the store's problem.
Customer- Can I see the damn manager? Cause I'm not going anywhere until I get my money back or something!
Mom- Ma'am this is not a issue to where we have to call for a manager. The shirt was too damn small for you!
Customer- And you cursing me out too? Oh hell naw y'all got me messed up all the damn way!
Mom- Ima need you to tone it down a bit please ma'am. I can get ghetto too but let's not take it there!
* Manager walks over*
Manager- Ladies what seems to be the problem?
Customer- Well I'm asking for refund or a trade for another shirt but this trick gone cuss me out!
Mom- Now you know damn well you are lying!
*Manager looks at her in shock*
Mom- Damn it
Customer- Who lying now h**?
*Mom posts up at the customer and jumps at her*
Customer- Lets go then!
Manager- No no no! I will not have this in my store! Y'all take it outside!
Mom- I'm just doing my job and she comes up here with this nonsense. I'll just walk away
*Mom walks to break room and calms down*
Mom- Lord I don't want to be faced with such situations that will tempt my faith and trust in you. Please do whatever to keep me away from such feelings. Amen.
