love is a mysterious
it's supposed to last forever.
an easy word to pronounce, but the hardest word to say.
love.

"Yarely..I didn't tell you about this earlier, but..Ethan said he loves me." I said.

Yarely and I were just hanging upside down off the couch, eating popcorn and listening to music.

"WHAT?!" Yarely yelled.

"Yeah..he texted me saying how he is ready to commit and that he loves me." I said.

Yarely turned off the music, and sat normally on the couch.

I brought myself back onto the base of the couch, too.

"What did you say?" Yarely asked.

"I said that I love him too..but I put 'l u v' instead because I felt that if I said that instead of the real word it's like what I was saying isn't real." I explained.

"Do you love him?" Yarely asked.

"I don't know. Sometimes I just get sick of seeing him, but then at other times I can't wait to see him and kiss him and hold him." I said playing with the strings of Ethan's hoodie I was wearing.

"Hmm." Yarely thought. "I think you are both just crazy confused about your feelings and you are associating that confusion with love."

I stayed quiet for a second.

"Damn." I finally spoke.

"I mean, that's just what I think." Yarely said.

"Ugh. Boys are confusing." I said.

"Trust me, I know." Yarely said. "Travis is still completely obsessed with you."

"Really? I mean, I wouldn't say obsessed, but why?" I asked.

"Well, he has had a crush on you for like, forever. And he always thought you guys were going to fall in love and be together or whatever..but then the twins came along and he's become bitter and jealous." Yarely said. "And I've told him to get over it, because you're with Ethan, and if you weren't with Ethan, you would probably be with Grayson but-"

"Wait what?" I asked. " You think I would be with Grayson?"

"Well, yeah. Your chemistry with him is soooo overpowering. The sexual tension between you too is insane. Everyone can feel it." Yarely explained.

"Well it's no longer there. We hungout on Wednesday and there was no tension at all." I said.

"That's because Ethan wasn't there. Whenever Ethan is in the middle of you too that's when there is the most tension. It's like you guys are avoiding being normal because you don't want to seem too friendly with each other." Yarely said.

"Whatever. I don't think there is any tension. And, there is no feelings there. I'm with Ethan." I said.

"Whatever you say, babe." Yarely said flipping back upside down.

I sighed.

I woke up the next morning hungry and tired. Yarely and I had crashed on the couch at I want to say 4:00am. We stayed up late watching Shane Dawson and eating cheez-its.

Yarely was still asleep, so I planned out the best way of waking her up.

I threw a pillow at her and then started singing Baby Shark at the top of my lungs, she hates that song.
