One day in a village that was located in the mountains, there was a small farm. If you ever went there you could probably see a cow eating grass, sleeping or walking around. That cow was me, I was named Elijah by my owner. I am actually a bull, but cows and bulls are fundamentally the same thing. My owner was a farmer named Henry, and his wife was a woman named Olivia. Henry and Olivia had two children, a daughter and a son. The daughter was named Nora, and their son was named Levi.
I generally eat grass but, occasionally Levi gives me hay. My owners residence is next to my pen, it's size is standard and I heard Levi say it was tan in colour. The neighbors house is about the same size and the colour is white. The pen next to mine has a tree right in the center of it, a chicken lives in the pen. My owner's cat Mollie, occasionally sneaks into the chicken pen and ascends the tree, my owner Henry has a hard time trying to get her to come down. Henry also has a dog named Snow, its a girl.
The chicken who lives in the pen next to mine is named June, since they got her in June. There is a rabbit who creeps into Henry's neighbors backyard and munches on his crops. The grumpy old man gets really furious at the rabbit but has never injured it, he just shoo's it away. I think the grumpy old man next door is named Charles, I'm pretty sure he has a pet mouse. Once the mouse got out of its enclosure and I look at it, it looked at me and it ran. I have no idea why though.
Well I am considerably bigger than that mouse, no wonder he darted away from me. I must have made the mouse panic, I feel ashamed now. I'm sorry I caused you a lot distress little mouse. I moo'd apologetically to the mouse. I was in my own little world for awhile, when I was done being distracted, my owner was running out of the house. His face looked alarmed and panicked, I was a little surprised because he always has had a straight face that only slightly has emotion.
Then he looked at me he ran over and opened the gate. After that he made a hand motion for me to get out of the pen and saying go, I was wondering why he was trying to get me to come out but he looked truly panicked so I went with it. I ran out of the pen, then Henry closed the gate after I was a little ways away from it. Henry shouted at me to move and run because a huge storm is coming, he tried to scare me, trying to make me run away but i wouldn't budge. I just stare at him, he finally gives in.
Henry runs back inside and asks if they're ready yet, Olivia shouted back that they were not ready yet. "Hurry up, the news says its close" Henry yells at the family in the house.
The wind suddenly starts dying down, and the air becomes very still. Henry suddenly yelled that it was time to go, everyone ran out of the house and ran to get into the truck. On a tree next to the truck was an owl, it was sleeping. When Henry started his truck, the owl suddenly woke up.The owl observed Henry, and Henry started glaring at the owl. The owl decided that Henry was okay, I think. The owl flew away and landed on a tree about 20 feet away and slowly went back into its light slumber. Henry snapped out of his daze and stopped glaring at the owl. He looked back to me, and suddenly said "Olivia help me get the livestock trailer ready!". Olivia nodded then looked at me, I saw her eyes suddenly flashed with hate, fear and a little bit of pity.
They got the trailer ready and hooked it up to their truck, they urged me to get into it. I got into the livestock trailer after a few seconds, they closed it as fast as they could so I couldn't get out. They got into the truck and left the house hurridley. We are on a dirt road, and soon we get on to the highway. I feel like I see almost 1,000 cars on the road trying to leave, there is a whole bunch of traffic. I think they are trying to get away from the storm, will it be that bad?
We finally get off the roads, it felt like we were on the roads forever. The truck stopped at a house, there was a barn and a pen for animals. The pen was empty but the barn looked to be full of hay. My owner Henry, got out of the truck and so did his wife Olivia. Olivia helped the kids get out of the truck, and Henry came to get me out of the livestock trailer. He unlocked the trailer and opened the door, he put a rope around my neck and led me to the pen beside the barm.
After he had got me inside the pen, he went and unlocked the door to the house. Henry, Olivia and their kids went inside, and through the screen door I see them turn on the TV. I have no idea what the TV is saying since i'm so far away from it, but I think they are explaining about a storm. Maybe it's about why we had to leave that house? After awhile, they turned the TV off and came outside but the kids stayed inside.
My owner looked upset and so did Olivia, maybe we won't be able to go back for awhile? Olivia said "What'll happen now?!" and she suddenly started crying. Henry embraced her trying to comfort her and said to her that we would stay here.
