Stone Music Dormitory
Yuri woke with a start. She heard her alarm. Its 8am. Today is the day she's been dreading. It has come.
She is trying to avoid this day. But it's too late to back out now. She got up and got ready.
She dragged herself to the bathroom to take a bath and get dressed.
She honestly thinks that it would have been better if she overslept but she doesn't know how to explain that to her manager. She needs this show. They need the publicity. She has to keep up with it.
She opened the fridge to get something to eat even when she doesn't have the appetite to eat anything right now. She needed to eat. She has to be ready.
She saw the note Eunyoung and Sian left. They're at the practice room. Training some more, they're too nervous for their upcoming debut. She smiled to herself. She's doing this for them as well. She can do this.
She actually tried to reach Chaewon and Minju last night thru text.
Among the IZ*ONE members they're the ones she's been keeping in touch with the most. Yes she's close with everyone, most especially Yena. But these two girls are what she could consider her best of friends. What with Minju being the same age as her and Chaewon being a good unnie who's good at giving advices.
Chaewon replied too late, that girl is currently busy with her group. She just debuted with Eunbi and the other Woolim girls, Sohee and Suyun, last year and they just made a come back last month. She's very busy at the moment due to promotions so it took her until 2am to reply to Yuri that yes she's going with Eunbi unnie. According to her it was good publicity and they needed it as well.
Minju on the other hand replied immediately, she told Yuri she'll be there at exactly 10am since she's flying overnight from Japan. Minju debuted last year but it didn't go too well. She decided to pursue her acting career. She's a big hit due to her last drama. Currently she's filming a movie in Japan.
They would meet up at the cafe near MBC. They would go there together. She needed someone to be with her during this interaction. She doesn't know how she could survive this when she barely survived their last encounter.
Yuri looked at the time. It's almost 9am. She needs to go now. She texted Minju that she's on her way and that she'll be waiting at the cafe.
Yuri took a deep breath and opened the door.
