Singing goodbye

Chapter 6

Emily's POV

Ricky jumps into Connors arms and ducks his head. I want to laugh so bad but I know I can't.

Once Brian reaches my table he pulls me by the back of my shirt into the janitors closet. and hangs the back of my shirt on a hook. Leslie files in to.

"Now listen bitch!" Leslie says while slapping my face. "I saw u with my boyfriend yesterday! you better leave him alone or else!" she yells before storming out and leaving me alone with Brian.

"You didn't come yesterday slut!" Brian said angrily. "So you are to be punished twice!" Brian said now grinning evilly.

"And Shawn is going to be the one to do it!" Brian screamed now smiling from ear to ear. "But now since we have 4 minutes to get to class your first punishment is waiting here until the end of the day. Say goodbye to your perfect attendance record!

When Brian exits he locks the door behind him getting a few high gives from his gang. I just hang there and start to cry.

Suddenly a girl opens the janitors closet. She walks in and almost passes out once she sees me. She kindly helps me down and explains that Mr. Dallas the janitor sent her in here to get the broom to sweep up some crumbs in the cafe from breakfast.

She introduces herself as Victoria Kimmel but she likes to be called Tori instead. Since we are both in the same homeroom Tori and I walk to class together. Once we get there Tori shows Ms.Martin her planner that was signed by Mr.Dallas. She nods her head approvingly as Tori and I find two open seats and sit next to each other.

During announcements Tori and I plan to meet at my house after school, because I have off work today. Tori then tells me about the field hockey team and how they need more girls. So I promised her I would ask my mom tonight.

Tori and I walk home together laughing at how stupid Ricky and Connor were at lunch today. We keep walking until we reach my house. Tori holds the door as I walk in.

"And who is this young lady?!" my mom says while wiping flour in her hair.

"This is tori," I say while laughing " And we are going to do homework together in my room!" I say looking at my moms hair.

"Well I just finished making cookies if you and Tori would like to bring some to your room that would be fine!" my mom said a little too excited.

"Tori what do u think shall we have the cookies with flour and hair?" I asked Tori while laughing non stop.

"Yes,yes I think we shall!" Tori said in a British accent.

"Well I'm glad you love my cooking!" my mom said acting like she was about to cry. Then we all just started laughing.

"Oh, and mom one more thing," I managed to get out before I started laughing again. "Can I join the field hockey team?" I said while Tori applauded me for remembering to ask.

"Yes,of course sweetie!" my mom said while hugging me. "Did u know I was on the field hockey team at your age, man we had a blast," my mom rambled, while I whispered to tori,

"Let's take the cookies and make a run for it before she bores us to sleep!"

Tori laughed an grabbed the cookies as we both ran upstairs laughing my mom shouted up the stairs,"You two are not very nice!"

After our homework was done we decided to prank call people. First, we prank called Ricky and pretended we were his mom, and telling him to get ready for dinner. Then, we prank called Connor and unlike Ricky Connor totally fell for it! He told us he was almost done with his homework and would be down in a jiffy!

After that , we had basically run out of numbers since Tori and I barley knew anyone except Ricky and Connor. Then I remembered that Shawn had given me his number the other day.

"Tori," I say a little nervous " I think I have a number we can call!"

Sorry for the cliffhanger again 😂 I'm so sorry for not updating I've just been really busy with the start of school and all.
