Story 1 Part 1: What's So Funny?

It was very early Tuesday morning and Downtown City was asleep still. Except for Blythe.
Russell was the first one to arrive at the Littlest Pet Shop Day Camp.

"Hellooo?....... Blythe?...... Anyone?" He looked around. He shrugged and opened up a book. There was a sudden noise coming from the direction where the dumbwaiter was.
"Russell!" Blythe quickly opened the dumbwaiter door.
"EEK!" Russell curled up into a ball. He peeked out and saw that it was only Blythe. He sighed in relief. "D-Don't do that..."
Blythe chuckled. "Sorry Russell... Say, are you the only one here right now?" She asked and looked around.
"Seems like it."
"Alright I can work with that. Soo... Russell. Would you mind helping me with something?"
Russell looked up from his book. "I guess not-"
"Great! Come on!" She quickly picked up Russell and crawled into the tight dumbwaiter.

"N-No offense Blythe, but if I knew what you were going to do to me, I would've kindly rejected..." Russell looked at himself in the vanity.
"Aww come on Russell. You look great! Besides, this is only for my practice," She giggled.
"Y-Yeah but... Maybe it would've helped you more to practice on an actual girl," He turned to look at her. His 'hair' was curled, similar to the hair he had at Terriers and Tiaras, and he was wearing a pink dress. Plus, a little bit of makeup.
"No one else was around... And I wanted to get this done quickly before school," Blythe explained. Russell sighed.
"B-But what if someone sees me?... What if all the pets are looking for me?... What if they all come up here at once and- ohhhh no! Blythe I could never live that down!"
She chuckled and patted his head. "Don't worry. No one will come up here. Now let's get you out of this stuff." She put her hands on her hips.
A moment later, two grey paws were peeking over the dumbwaiter opening to Blythe's room.
'Click'
The grey-pawed animal quickly escaped the scene.

"Did you hear that?" Russell's ears twitched. Blythe stopped and listened.
"No.. I think you're just paranoid, Russell," She said. She continued to undo Russell's hair. Then washed all te makeup off.
"There! Alright I gotta get going. TTYL!" She grabbed her backpack and headed out the door. Russell hopped off the vanity and headed back towards the pet shop.

Vinnie walked into the day camp. "Hahhh it feels good to be home."
"But this isn't your home, Vinnie," Sunil followed him in.
"Close enough," Vinnie shrugged.
"I don't know about you but I'm rather tired," Sunil yawned.
"Right behind you brother."
They both headed to their pet beds. They had theirs set up relatively close to each other so they could talk. And the fact that they're best friends. When they got there, they stopped.
"Do see what I am seeing?" Sunil asked Vinnie.
"If you mean that we both are seeing a paper underneath our pillows then yeah," Vinnie answered. He picked it up. Almost immediately, he started to laugh. "PBBBBBTTT Sunil! You gotta see it! Hahaha!" Vinnie whisper/laughed.
Sunil threw him a confused look and shrugged. He picked it up and let the image sink in. He started giggling quietly. "Shhh! We cannot let... You-know-who see this! This is for our own personal enjoyment only!" Sunil gestured towards Russell who was quietly reading on the couch. Vinnie nodded in agreement.

Zoe, Pepper, Minka, and Penny Ling all came in.
"Hey guys! You wanna hear a funny joke?" Pepper snorted. Vinnie and Sunil exchanged glances.
"Pfft. Please. We know something that's probably more funnier," Vinnie claimed. He nudged Sunil who then giggled.
"Oohh what is it? I like a good joke!" Minka jumped up and down.
"See for yourselves. Look on your beds," Sunil pointed to them. The girls did as they were told and looked.
"All I see is a picture of Russ-.... Ohhh...." Penny Ling picked up the picture. She started giggling, Pepper bursted out laughing, Minka scratched her head, and Zoe said something along the lines of, "My eyes!"
Russell looked up from his book. "Oh everyone's here now," He smiled and hopped off the couch. He made his way towards them.
"Morning everyone!" He said. Everyone turned around and held in their laughter.
"Oh.. Heyy... hehe... Um... Russell. What's up?" Pepper struggled to keep in her laughter. Russell raised an eyebrow.
"What's so funny?" He asked. Minka raised her hand.
"Ooh ooh! I know!"
But before she could say anything, Zoe and Pepper covered her mouth.
"Nothing whatsoever," Sunil calmly responded. Russell looked at them for a moment.
"Okayy.... So... I'll continue reading then," he gave a half-hearted smile. As he turned around, there was scattered laughter amongst the pets.
Russell glanced back at everyone and raised an eyebrow.
