"Okay, what store first?" Brianna asks. But Brianna never lets me choose the store. I must be missing something.

"Lets go to Lily's," she adds on.

There's the Brianna I know. I simply agree, so we wander down the street with her umbrella over our heads.

A thought bursts through my head and I start to panic. Luke is next to Lily's. I do not want him to see us shopping when I told him that me and him could go out today. I was going to make an excuse like 'My parents wouldn't let me' or 'I forgot I had to babysit today.' That is all lost now unless I avoid him.

"Know what? I don't really feel like going to Lily's at the moment. Maybe tomorrow," I say.

"But I was planning to get us matching dresses but I don't know your size, so you need to try it on," Brianna tells me, almost annoyed.

I don't argue with her because that may go on for hours. Instead I toss around ideas in my brain about something else to do.

Its only a couple of stores down the street and I already see a figure sitting beside an umbrella.

"Ew is that a poor person?," Brianna stops and points, sounding snobby.

"Brianna! Stop. Why would you say that? That is so rude."

"Since when do you like the poor?" she asks looking disgusted of me.

"I don't. Its just the way you said it was a little too rude.

Brianna always follows her parents' footsteps. Whatever they say, she repeats. Whatever they do, she does. They dislike the poor, she dislikes the poor. Our families are very close so they tend to have the same tastes. Brianna expects me to believe whatever both of our parents say.

We are right across the street from Lily's. Nervously, I walk quietly, but as fast as I can without putting attention on myself. Luckily, Luke does not look my way so I enter quickly into Lily's.

Brianna is staring at me, smiling as if saying, 'What the hell is wrong with you?' She just shrugs it off and follows me into the store.

At first glance I see this gorgeous floral print dress with a cutout in the back. I pick it up and hold it up to me.

"I knew you would like it. That is the dress I was talking about. Now go try it on," she says shooing me towards the dressing room.

The dress fits beautifully. Confidently, I open the door and show off the dress.

Brianna claps her hands together in amazement and goes to the cashier with the same dress.

"Can I just leave the dress here while we are looking?" Brianna says while gesturing the both of us. The lady nods so I go back to change into my regular clothes.

Afterwards I place my dress with the other on the counter and continue looking. I find a long black maxi dress with a gold belt, so I try it on.

I come out of the dressing room, looking down, admiring the dress and how it matches with my shoes.

"What do you think?"

As I turn my head up I see Luke standing by the door. My heart feels like it just exploded. Why is he in here?

Everything is lost now.

I could have saved him, but I think I might have broke him.

I open my mouth to speak, but nothing comes out.

He stares down at the floor with his palms over his face. He looks back up, slowly. He opens his mouth to speak.

"I think its beautiful. I think you are beautiful. I thought the real you was beautiful too, but I guess I was wrong."

I look into his eyes, and close them because this couldn't get any worse.

Why. Why did this happen?

Brianna takes a step forward at looks at me and then Luke. She points towards him while speaking, "You know him, the poor person? I thought you hated the poor."

My mistake, It could get worse.

I have to make a quick decision in my mind, Brianna or Luke. Obviously, Brianna. I hate to do it, but anyway I just met Luke.

"I don't like the poor and I have no idea who he is. He might have mental problems if he thinks he knows me."

Luke looks at me in disgust and confusion. I turn around from him and continue shopping.

"Goodbye Ariella. Maybe I will get those mental issues checked out.

When I look back he is gone but Brianna is right next to me. I look down and search for some sweaters but she takes my shoulder and faces me toward her.

"But how does he know your name?"
