'She..She didn't mean it Izuku...'

Standing frozen in place, the words that had been screamed at him echoed. A shaking and broken gasp escaped his lips as tears streamed down his freckled cheeks. Realizing how his hands were now empty, he felt longing - he felt confused and broken. Quickly, he wiped his eyes and shook his head.

'She didn't mean it..(Y/N) doesn't tell but she's hurting too..'

Glancing at his notebook as he picked it up, he sighed and forced a smile. He turned to face the tunnel he had originally attempted to enter in order to head home. Still..he hesitated and turned his head slightly to the direction (Y/N) had ran away to. He bit his lip.

'She needs time...and then...we'll talk and it will all be better!' Smiling nervously and with determination he began to walk 'Press on Izuku!'

Funnily enough, the day seemed to enjoy toying with the weak and freckled boy, as he stepped into the tunnel, a malicious laughter echoed behind him.

❀ ------------------------- ❀

If the day could be personified, they would take the form of a powered crazed king, enjoying putting their civilians through thick and thin. Enjoying toying with (Y/N) (L/N) - the civilian who currently ran as if there was no tomorrow.

After realizing her outburst towards Midoriya Izuku, she felt her world crash. Her selfish and careless words, the helpless and broken look he gave her...she didn't know what to do. So, the moment her senses had told her to run, she did nothing but comply.
And as she ran, she did not stop, wherever her feet would take her was enough. She couldn't face him, he couldn't face Izuku Midoriya no matter how much she wanted.

She ran, without sparing a glance or an apology to those she crashed into.

'I didn't mean to snap at him. I really didn't..I just! I..'

And as she kept on running she only found herself heading somewhere unknown. The streets she came across of became more quite, more empty, and more darker. Her steps began to become slow, soon enough, she found herself at a dead end. Taking heavy breaths, she began to wipe her eyes and cheeks, were tears streamed down without control.

Her vision had become clear, she sat on her knees, ignoring how the dirt began to collect on the hems of her skirt. Staring down at her hands, she balled them into fists and shut her eyes.

'Selfish..'

'its not our fault - if it wasn't for that recommendation...'

Her eyes snapped open, the recommendation letter crossing her mind yet again. She recalled weeks after the accident and after her moving - her words were harsh and cold as she told many of those individuals the following..

''i don't want any special treatment from you heroes. i don't want anything to do with you either. I don't need help - i can survive alone like I've always had''

Her words seemed to reach them for the time being, no heroes attempted to contact her or attempt having a relationship with her and she was so thankful for it. She would have a detective cheek on her once it twice a month but - like she said, she dealt with everything alone.

And this - she was certain it was planned. Her recommendation to the prestigious hero school, U.A ,when she had stated her desire to not wanting to do anything with heroes. And, she hardly ever showed her quirk, she never took any mock tests , it had to be someone from her mothers past...
It had to be...
