"And I know this crush ain't going away, away, away"
I sang along to my radio as I made some breakfast this morning. I have work in about an hour and I still need to get dressed.
But here I am, dancing in my kitchen, in a robe, while eating some toast.
I hummed as I chewed on my toast piece of toast. I walk to the dishwasher and placed my plate in and turned it on.
I wiped my hands under the tap and made my way to my room to change. I let the radio stay on because I love this song.
Crush by David Archuleta
It's such a beautiful song.
I walked into my room and walked to my draws and pulled out my outfit for today, I have a spare draw in my room, I always put my outfit for the next day there because then all I have to do is put it on.
I placed it on my bed before walking to my other draws to grab some undergarments. I hummed as I heard the song from the kitchen.
I still haven't heard from Dylan, I've never been in this situation so I don't know how long it will be until he calls me.
Wait?
It suddenly clicks in my head as I was putting my bra on.
He doesn't have my number.
My heart dropped. I never gave it to him at the cafe nor did I give it to him during out time in school.
He never asked for it.
I frowned and pulled my white jumper over my head to complete my outfit.
Maybe it isn't meant to be
I grabbed my bag which already held everything I would need, expect my phone. I walked over to it to see a few random texts from close friends checking in.
I response to them, telling them I'm fine.
They all left town after graduation, they got into colleges near eachother in California. I told them I'd visit them one day but I just haven't had the time to plan it out.
I walked out my room, and down the stairs. I was planning to have a takeout tonight, I had one every two weeks to treat myself to something nice, sometimes it's clothes but if I'm being honest, I love food.
I grabbed my keys from my kitchen side and turned the radio off before leaving my apartment. I locked it up and passed by the other appartments. I entered the lifts and waited for the door to close to go down.
I pulled my phone out to get ready to make my daily call to Ms. Hutter when I leave.
The door was about to close when a body quickly came in. I moved away a little as they stepped in but when I took a glance look my eyes widen.
