*Jackie P.O.V.*

"Jackie wait up," Kurt yelled running to catch up to me. I turned to wait for Kurt and Puck walked up to me on the other side. He attempted to grab my butt, I turned around quick as a flash and grabbed his grabby hand and twisted it to where he was crying for mercy. "No groping south of the equator, Puck," I said sternly. By now everyone was gathered into the hall to see the commotion. "Or north for that matter. If you try this again, I won't give you another warning," I finished. "Woah," Kurt said. "Can you be my new body guard," Brittany asked me. I let go of Puck and he backed away. "I only protect myself with groping pigs like him," I responded with distaste. "Let's go Kurt," I said cheerfully. "Ok," he said. When we got out of the school building my dad was waiting there for us. "So what was that inside," he asked. "Self defense. Puck had a case of the grabby hands. I wasn't about to just let him grab my butt," I said before we got in the car. "Hóla Pápa," I said. "Hóla míja. hóla Kurt. How was school today," pápa asked. "It was ok," I said as I buckled up.

We drove home in silence and when I got home máma was cooking dinner. "Hóla máma. Voy a mi cuarto a trabajar en la tarea," I said. "Ok míja, just make sure you are down stairs before dinner. We are have guests over tonight. They will be here at 6:30," she said. "Ok máma I'll come down at 6:15. Who's coming over for dinner by the way," I asked. "Just a coworker of your father's. He has a son about your age actually and a daughter in middle school. Dress nice míja," she said. "Ay màma. Please don't tell me that you have a plan to set me up with someone I barely know," I groaned. "No míja I'm asking you to dress nice because of the fact that we are having guests over," she defended. "Can I wear my boots," asked, "please máma. They're the ones Jacob got me. You know how I get when we have dinner guests. The boots help keep me calm."

"Fine. You may wear your boots if you have a nice dress that goes with it," she gave in. I went upstairs and worked on my home work while on a call with my friends back home. "So what's the hot goss," Sarah asked. "Not much, Sarah," I responded as I was working on my math homework. "That 'not much' sounded like a lot has happened," she said. "Ok fine. I joined Glee club today," I admitted. "You have more to tell. I can hear it in your voice," she said. "You know me so well Sarah. There is this really cute guy in glee. His name is Mike Chang," I said. "He sounds good lookin'," she said. "He is, but I doubt I have a chance anymore," I said. "What did you do," she asked. "I said he was cuter up close in spanish. But that's not the bad part. He understands spanish," I said. "Poppy, our guests are here," my mom called. "Just a minute," I called down to her Isaid realizing that I lost track of time. "Dinner guests, huh," Sarah said. "Yeah. I gotta go, but I'll call you later," I said. "Ok bye, babes," Sarah said. "Bye babes," I said then hung up.

I got up and walked over to find a nice dress to go with my boots. I ended up going with my royal blue dress.

Once I was done getting dressed, I went downstairs to greet our dinner guests. When I arrived downstairs I walked into the kitchen where everyone was hanging out, and I could not believe who I saw. The very guy who I embarrassed myself in front of earlier. Mike Chang. "Hóla," I said causing everyone to turn. "There you are Poppy," my mom said walking over to me. "Sorry I'm late everyone," I apologized. "Poppy this is the young man I was telling you about. Poppy meet-," my mom said before she was interrupted. "Mike Chang, we go to school together máma. Mike and I met earlier today in-, as I looked over at him he seemed to be telling me not to say anything about Glee club, "in class."

"How nice. I guess I didn't need to introduce you at all then," my mom said. "Why don't you two go talk together. Get to know eachother a little better," Mike's dad said. We walked into the next room together in silence. "Thanks for not saying anything about Glee Club, my parents don't quite know about it yet," he said. "It's no problem," I said. "So," Mike said. "So.... what do you want to do after high school," I asked. "I want to be a professional choreographer, but my dad wants me to be a doctor," he said. "Your dad shouldn't dictate what you want to do when you are older. You should be able to follow your passion," I said. "Your right. So what do you want to do," he asked. "I want to be a high school spanish teacher," I said. "Thats cool," he said.

An awkward silence grew again. "So do you have any siblings," I asked. "No, you," he asked. "I did," I said. "What do you mean," he said. "I had an older brother. He died in a accident a couple of years ago. He would have been in college now," I said trying to hold back tears. "Oh, I'm sorry," he said. "It's okay you didn't know," I said. We sat in silence again, but it was a comfortable silence, until our parents came out with the food.
