Chapter 1: Diagon Alley

You woke up with a start, as you roll over and see your alarm clock going off. The red numbers were flashing as you quickly jumped out of bed and run to your closet to find something to wear.

You dug through your closet for what felt like hours, but in reality was only a few minutes, until you finally found the prefect outfit.

A white tank top with blue jean shorts, and a black and yellow flannel. You also wore white socks that went about two inches above your ankle, and black sneakers.

"Azure!" You heard your mother sing. "Hurry up downstairs with your things! We have to get to Diagon Alley before it gets too crowded!"

You immediately came back to realization as you grabbed your bag of galleons, and rushed downstairs. "Sorry mother!" You apologized. "That's quite alright dear. Down let's get going!" Your mother wore a huge grin on her face as she was excited to go to Diagon Alley with you. You assumed that it may be just because it reminds her of her memories of going to Diagon Alley when she was your age. But of course now she never goes into Diagon Alley anymore because she works at the ministry.

As you were walking, you decided to ask your mother a serious question. "Mother, how would you feel if. . . I don't know. . . I am not sorted into Ravenclaw like you or Dad?"

Your mother stared at you in shock that you would ask such a thing. She stared for a moment or two, before she started laughing. "Oh, Azure! Do you really think your father and I will be upset if you don't get sorted into Ravenclaw? Of course not! It doesn't matter what Hogwarts house you're sorted into, we will still love you either way. You are our daughter after all, and we love you not matter what! Now don't worry about it so mu- oh! Looks like we're here!"

You stared at the brick wall in confusion before looking at your mom. "Mother, this is just a brick wall."

Your mother laughed. "Oh sweetie! This isn't just a brick wall! It's the entrance to Diagon Alley of course! Now, watch closely as I make some magic happen." Your mother took out her wand and went up six bricks on the wall and over three. She tapped the brick with her wand and a passage way opened up to an old looking Alley lined with shops, and people busting around everywhere.

"Woah. . ." You whispered to yourself.

Your mother smiled. "I know. Isn't it lovely?" She asked.

"Yeah. . ." You looked forward as you started walking alongside your mother. "Where are we when going first mum?" You asked her.

"We're going to go get your robes fitted first, then we will get your books, your couldron, a pet for you to take to Hogwarts with you, and then, I've saved the best for last, we will go get your wand. It's quite a magical experience, getting your wand, it is. Mr. Ollivander is such a lovely man. He may be a little crazy, but don't let that slip past his features." She explained.

You nodded and kept looking forward as you walked until your mother stopped you. "Azure! We're here!" Your mother chimed. "I'm going to go and get us something to eat, and I want you to go inside and find the store clerk. Just tell here that your getting robes for Hogwarts, first year, and she will get you some robes that fit."

You got your robes from the lady inside, and went outside to wait for your mom.

Once she showed up, she had a chocolate frog in her arms along with your school supplies you will need. A couldron, your books, etc. and some lunch for you both.

"Ok sweetie! Once I get these things situated, we can go get your wand!"

"Yay!" You yelled. Your mother scolded you for being loud. You apologized and tried to keep yourself from laughing. "Follow me!" She told you.

You followed your mother to a shop called Ollivander's. You were so excited to get your wand, that you ran inside almost instantly.
