"Duck!" Shouted the guy whose name Wooyoung didn't even know a few minutes ago.

Guns were rapidly fired at them as they hid behind a car.

The person squatting in front of him with his back turned towards him was bleeding on his biceps. The gunshot wound seemed deep.

The air smelled tear-jerkingly like gunpowder and it stung his eyes to the point it was hard to keep them open. Just a few seconds ago someone got their head blown open and that blood still plastered all over Wooyoung's face. He was in utter shock, and not even the drug working in his body was helping him calm down.

Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck!

Two hours ago he woke up, one hour ago he was on the way to work unusually well dressed - expecting his well earnt promotion - and now he was hiding for his life behind an old car with the remains of someone on his body, ruining his brand new shirt that he bough exclusively for his promotion but now it was ruined, everything was ruined, most definitely his life.

"Don't fucking scream at me to duck when they are coming at us from every direction!" He screamed at the top of his lungs but the person didn't even flinch.

"Quit the yapping you're giving away our position!" He hissed.

Wooyoung ducked and a bullet drilled into the metal next to his head. His eyes widened.

"Fucking hell we are so going to die we are fucking dead right now!" He screamed and reached to grab the guy, but only managed to take hold of the bleeding wound on his arm that made him flinch and miss the shot. "Oh fuck! Oh my fucking god fuck fuck I'm so sorry, my goodness I'm gonna faint!"

Wooyoung could feel his limbs go numb as he stared at the blood on his hands. He felt seriously lightheaded and his vision started going blurry. This was just too much too much too much too much too--

"Hey" he heard a small voice and all of a sudden the havoc surrounding them went completely quiet.

"Hey" he answered shakily and that made the other smile.

"We are cornered" he stated, but his voice was calm.

"We are?" Wooyoung asked back, totally in a trance.

Shock took over his body, he was basically limp at this point, his lips parted, eyes gazing into those of the other searching for something, he was just so terrified he needed something, anything.

The other smiled, his teeth showing.

"Yeah" he chuckled. It was like a last resort before the end. There was just no way out of this. "But first I need you to say now on the count of three."

"What?"

"One..."

"Wait!"

"Two..."

"Hey no--"

"Three!"

Wooyoung gasped and pulled together more strength than he ever used in his entire life. His hands gripped the other's collars and he shouted at the top of his lungs.

beep beep beep

Wooyoung slapped a hand over his phone ringing on the nightstand and flopped back to bed. Tonight was a movie - said Yeosang drunk as they left the company dinner and wobbled their way home, but now that it was today Wooyoung much rather felt like a dying fish on the shore. Dry and miserable. If yesterday was a movie, it was definitely deserving a Golden Raspberry award for how badly written and directed it was. Not to mention Yeosang's performance, a mixture of perfectly planned business smiles and corporate bullshitting everyone seemed to buy just because he was that handsome. But to Wooyoung, he was the guy who once pulled socks on his hands when they were high at the university dorms and then cried for 30 minutes because he couldn't find his hands, he was the guy who slipped and fell at the cafeteria at high school and slid on the floor until he crashed into the wall - obviously all of that being a 100% accidental - and he was the guy who ate crayons in kindergarten.
