I wake up in the middle of the night. My room is lit up in a blur glow coming from my desk. I quickly run over to my desk. I notice the creature is gone. The tip of my pencil has been broken. There's a giant portal sitting on my desk. I hesitate for a moment, then a slowly go through the portal. This was like no video game I've played. I immediately dropped onto a sidewalk. I look up and see a building that had "CITY HALL" in bold letters on the sign out front. I run up the stairs and stop at the door. I turn around and see a beautiful city covered in lights of all colors. I snap back into things and walk into Ciity Hall. I see a man at his desk on a phone. The phone looked advanced from the real world technology. I approach the man and before I reached the desk. Who's there", the man said. "Where am I", I asked the strange man. "You are in the world of Mettles", the man said. "What is a Mettle", I asked. "It's not what, it's who", the man said. "This is the city where all drawings live", the man added. "Where is my drawing then", I asked. The man brings me over to a telescope and tells me to look in. I look into the telescope and start looking all across the city. "There he is", I yelled. The man tells me to focus the telescope on the creature. I do so and then he presses a button. A light shoots out of the telescope and all of a sudden my drawing is standing in the room with me and the strange guy. "How did you do that and who are you", I ask in shock. "I am the Mayor of this city, and this isn't just a telescope, it's a teleportation device that allows me to track the creatures of the city and bring them here if needed", the man said. "Why did the creature come here", I asked. "This mettle was reported missing a few days ago and we gave up on the search because that's out rules", the Mayor said. "I drew him and when I woke up he came to life", I said. "Ah, so you are one of the gods, one of the creatures of our world",the mayor said. "I need to get home before my parents wake up and have a panic attack", I said. I will let you go home if you can do one thing...never draw again, the man said. "Why.. why...why", I struggled to speak. "Because, the more you draw the worse our city gets, kids all around the world are creating and we can't afford the worst imaginations getting into our world", the man said. "The mettle can go home with you if it chooses to", the man said. "One more drawing will over load the system and kill us all, but just because the mettle has left our world doesn't mean he won't die, his attachment to this world with tear him apart", the man said. The mayor opens a door revealing a portal. I grab the creature and jump into the portal. I land back on my floor, it's still dark outside. I put the creature in my house bed and close the door. I turn around and grab the portal. With a tear in my eye I destroy the portal and throw it in the trash, knowing I'll never get to live my dream. I go back to sleep knowing I have new opportunities awaiting my arrival.
