Chapter 10

Because I dropped out of school and had a full time job to provide for myself- I broke up with Ethan. I just didn't have time for relationships and whatnot anymore.

*On the phone*

Ethan: I mean... it's your choice. No matter what or who you are to me- I'll always love you alright?

Emma: Love you too Ethan.

I can tell he was so heartbroken. I really did love him. It was just too much pressure. I finally had rest my mind and focused on what I wanted to do and actually be. A video creator. Like... YouTube.

I was really stress because I had so much feelings left for Ethan. And so I just randomly made a YouTube video. My school friends were really curious why I left school. So I made a video about that.

Emma: *signs*... this is why I left school.

I started talking for like an hour and edited the video on my phone. Obviously I didn't have an editing program yet on my computer- neither did I had a camera.

I uploaded the video and didn't want to look at it until next week. And wow. The video- HAD 400k VIEWS. I know that's actually not a lot at all- but for a starting channel like me, it was a lot. I had gained 71k subscribers from it and so many positive comments about how they can relate so much and it made me happy.

Ethan saw my video. He thought it was cool and so he told me to come over. Of course I came. It was a bit weird but we just acted like old buddies.

Ethan: SOOOOO you started a YouTube channel without telling me?

Emma: Uh... Yeah.

Ethan: Well... you know my little skating channel?

Emma: Duh! I record the videos for you.

Ethan: Well- thats only my second channel.

Emma: NO WAY- you mean-

Ethan: Me and Grayson actually have a YouTube channel where we do stupid shit with 4 million subscribers.

Emma: Awh! I'm so proud of you guys!

I gave him a big hug... but it felt like so much more. It felt like we were really close again.

Ethan: Well, I have a friend, and I think we should collab together.

Emma: Hm... alright.

Ethan: We can meet him tomorrow at Philz.

Emma: Yeah that sounds great!

Ethan: Alright.

He gives me another big hug and gentle kiss on the forehead before I headed out. It felt so special. Hopefully this brings us closer again.

As I was walking out Grayson had just came back from grocery shopping.

Gray: EMMA!!

Emma: Hi Grayson!

Gray: What're you doing here?

Emma: I just talked with e.

Gray: Oh.. right.

Emma: Well I was just heading out, so I'll see you around.
