Falling towards a prince {Chapter 2}

Damian walked slowly to his seat and locked eyes with me.

“What is your problem nerd?”

I tilted my shoulders while he sat down next to me. The class went on. I didn’t pay much attention, my mind was focused on what he said. Was I such a nerd? Did I have a problem? I wondered what I did to make him see me like that. I totally agree that I am a student who likes school. That maths is my favourite subject. That I don’t have to study really hard, but is that something that makes me a nerd? My eyes darted of in his direction and suddenly I saw him looking at me. My eyes widened when I stared in his eyes. My eyebrow raised itself while I mouthed; What are you doing?

He looked at my lips and then turned around. He didn’t look at me for the rest of class. When I walked out of my classroom I felt a little lightheaded. What was wrong with him? Why was he being like this and why did he stare at me? I felt like I had way to much questions in my head so when I finally made it to my locker I went down and sat on the ground. There were not so many students around on this time because most classes started around eleven. It was now, I looked at my phone, around nine. I had two hours before my next class was starting and I hadn’t homework to do. I stared at the ceiling but after a few minutes I closed my eyes. My mind drifted off to a nice place and then I was asleep.

I felt something hard taking my head down. I smacked into something and I opened my eyes just on time so I could bent my head before it would be crushed by a bag. I looked up and saw no other person then Damian stare at me. I tried to get up but I should have waited. I stood for a few seconds before falling down again. Just when I was about to hit the ground two arms got hold of me. I felt them around my waist holding me from falling. I looked up in his eyes. There we were, standing in a complete different situation than normal. Normally he would have laughed, but there he was. Standing in front of me with his arms around my waist and my hands on his upper arms. And we were staring into each other’s eyes. My heart started pounding in my chest because I didn't like this. I really didn't like being in his arms. His eyes were beautiful though, no Abb No, you can't let your mind run free about his gorgeous body. I blinked and then tried again to stand up.

After Damian felt sure that I was steady on my feet he released his arms. I felt my shoulders relax. He started walking away. I frowned and then it snapped. I run towards him and started walking next to him. I wanted to say something but he was first.

"Why are you following me?"

I cleared my throat. "Because I wanted to thank you."

He stopped walking and turned around. I almost fell over my feet. He held his hand out and I caught it. I stood up straight and locked eyes with him, waiting for him to continue. As on cue he did.

“You wanna thank me?”

“Yes.”

His eyebrows raised. He stared at my for a few seconds and then started to walk again. After a few meters he said; “Just don’t feel asleep again like that.” And then he walked of. He was gone.
