For everyone's information, this story was made by groupmates in school. It was for a project and it was so brilliantly done so I decided to post it here. The original though, was in Filipino so I translated it.

Please continue reading and tell me what you think :)

The bell that could make anyone deaf rang beside our classroom.

“Pass your papers early in the morning tomorrow.” says our teacher “Goodbye and thank you, class.”

Automatically, everyone said goodbye and thank you back. Everyone had their own little world the moment the teacher left. The others rushed out, while the others stayed and cleaned.

I wore my bag and started to walk out of my classroom. Somebody rushed towards me; Laura, my group mate.”Jennifer, don’t forget the things you need to do for our presentation, they’re due tomorrow.” I just nodded in response, even if I know that I’m the only one who’s actually doing anything. If I don’t do it, nobody else is going to anyway.

I went home right away but I’m not excited to go back to our house. Every time I go home, someone greets me: silence. My parents were once again not home. Perhaps they were in another meeting with their annoying, heartless coworkers.

I breathed deeply. I felt pain again. The kind of pain that’s similar to getting stabbed right in the chest. I don’t understand how they could leave me by myself every single day.

I went straight up to my room and just lay on my bed. I wasn’t even aware I was crying until I felt my tear drop to my cheek. Thirty minutes passed and I did nothing but just lay on my bed, cry and think.

Maybe my boyfriend Paolo could help. I need to talk to him and he’s the first person I thought of. I called him on his phone.

“Jennifer?” He asked on the other line.

“Yes, Paolo, it’s me.” I answered

I sighed and ransacked my mind but I just couldn’t find the thoughts that I could say to him. It’s like my tongue was frozen but I wanted to say so much.

“Jennifer, are you crying? Are you okay?” his tone was wrapped with so much concern and worry

I opened my mouth to speak, but again no words came out. Tears started falling again and the only thing you could hear was my breathing.

“Jennifer, let’s just meet up and maybe if we did, you could say what’s really on your mind.” Said Paolo who’s still worried sick.
