emma's pov

"hey e should we get to the campsite? we've been here for about 30 minutes." i desperately wanted to get there. i didn't know why, but i did. "yeah, i 100% want to beat james and grayson there" he laughed.

we got in the car and ethan started playing music on the aux cord.

after about 2 hours of throwback songs we pulled into our campsite, "i knew we would beat them, pound it!" e was super excited to get there first, i didn't get why it's probably just a guy thing. i returned his fistbump and he looked straight at me, and then very quickly, he turned around and jumped out of the car.

i've never been so confused, yet so in 'love' with someone since my last crush. ethans different, i love that.

ethan's pov

emma started to help me carry things out from my car to where we were setting up. i watched her adorable little face go bright red when helping me carry out the tent. "haha you good there em?" "yeah...can we put it down yet?" her eyes begged me to put the tent down. so we did.

"is that better?" i laughed, she was completely red so i tossed her my water bottle. "i'm going to start putting up the tent, you stay there for a minute, i don't want you getting even more out of breath". "haha, thanks e".

the whole time i was setting up the tent i couldnt stop thinking about emma. damn. she really is beautiful. gray's always asking me if i like her, of course i always said no, it's gray he would tease me forever.

but now, oh god.

i think i'm in love with emma.

emma's pov

e is so cute and caring. i wondered where james and gray were, but at that point i wish they didn't come at all. i really wanted to be alone with him. i just wanted him and nothing else.

i got up and started moving stuff into the tent.

we had finally finished setting up and e got a text from gray.

gray - 'hey e, james forgot one of his bags and we hit traffic so we're about an hour away'.

"looks like it's just me and you for a bit longer" e said, smiling at me. "hey emma, i need to tell you something..."
