After the long night with Mettaton, Papyrus had a hangover. He thinks he drank some more after that "busy night." Later that day, he saw Mettaton on the couch. She was sleeping. He quickly woke her up and brought her outside. Sans walked downstairs and saw nothing. He lucky got him out before Sans could see. Sans doesn't remember anything from last night. The last thing he remembers was drinking some beer, some Lud Bight he remembers. Then everything is a blur.
He brings Mettaton upstairs to his room, and he sees a girl sleeping in his bed. She wakes up and sees Papyrus. She screamed, but he silenced her. He asked, "What are you doing in my bed?" she responded, "I don't know, I just woke in this bed!" Papyrus sighed, then remembered that he saw Sans with another girl in the bathroom. He can't confront him, as he was "doing" another person too, but at the same time, he knew Sans was cheating on him.
Papyrus gets slightly nervous over this situation. Suppose he finds Mettaton, who knows what will happen. Papyrus asks, "What's your name?" she answers, "Toriel." Papyrus knows no Toriel, so he assumes she's from somewhere else. He went to Sans' room and checked if he was there. Papyrus saw him sleeping on his mattress. He snuck Mettaton out and woke up Sans. He said, "Who's that girl sleeping in my bed?" Sans responded in a tired voice and said, "I don't know; you brought her home."
